Incredible 3-day trek to Toubkal in the Moroccan High Atlas Mountains. You will enjoy Jebel Toubkal, the highest peak in North Africa.
This hike starts from Marrakech to the Imlil Valley where you will meet our team of a local guide and mule drivers. After a welcome tea in a guest house, you will start walking with our guide towards Refuge du Toubkal where you will spend the night!
During the second day, you will walk to the summit of Toubkal. After a beautiful view of the summit, you will descend from the summit to the refuge.
On the third day, we are going to climb the second-highest Mountain called Ouankrim is 4081m, back to the base camp for lunch. Then afternoon you will return to Imlil, then transfer you to Marrakech.
The high Atlas Mountains are very rich in the culture and the geology and the biology, and there you can find many climbers are going to walk up the Toubkal summit and to enjoy the 360° view from the top. When you arrive at Imlil, you will have an option to visit the Berber house and to meet the local people, and then taste the local dishes…

Itinerary
Day 1: Marrakech - Imlil - the start of the trek in Toubkal - Refuge du Toubkal.
At the start of the morning, short transfer to Imlil where we meet the mule driver (s). We start our hike with a beautiful climb to the village of Aremd, terraced crops, irrigation canals, then by marabout from Sidi Chemharouch, to reach the Toubkal refuge at 3100m.
5 hours of walking.
Night in a refuge.
Day 2: Toubkal Refuge (3100 M) - Ascent of Toubkal (4167m) - Return to the Refuge.
The ascent of the highest peak in North Africa is easy. Departure at the earliest to enjoy the freshness of the morning. From where the Toubkal summit (4167m) the view goes far, we can see the Siroua massif, as well as the plain of Marrakech. Descent and return. Tea and lunch at the refuge, free afternoon.

2:30 for the descent.
Day 3: Toubkal Refuge - Ouankrim - Imlil - Marrakech
Ouankrim is Located in the southwest of Toubkal, a nice view from there. back to the refuge for lunch. After lunch, we descend slowly by the same mule track towards the marabout of Sidi Chemharouch (2250m), a revered saint, renowned for the care of spiritual diseases (King of the Devils), under a rock painted in white, lunch at Imlil 1750 m. 4 hours of descent then around 1 p.m., return to Marrakech.
Duration: 4 hours of walking / 1 hour 20 minutes on the road.
