Description
First day: Will start early in the morning. We depart Marrakech at 07h30 AM to Kasbah Ait Ben Hadou through Tizi Ntichka pass and the high Atlas Mountains. Numerous stops will be made along the way. Visit the UNESCO world heritage Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, which was also served as a set for various Hollywood blockbusters. We continue to Ouarzazate and visit Kasbah Taourirte before lunch ( At leisure ). In the afternoon, we drive to Boumalne Dades via the Valley of the Roses before before we reach our small hotel located in Dades Valley. Second day : After breakfast at your hotel in Dades Valley, our journey will start today with a drive along the road of 1001 Kasbahsto the oasis of Tighir, where we will deviate to a minor road driving along the river to Todgha canyons. After some time at leisure to enjoy the immensity of the huge cliffs, and lunch at a local café (at leisure ), we continue early in the afternoon to to Rissani, famous for its dates market, and being a starting point of the ancient trading caravans crossing the Sahara desert to Tomboctou. After a quick stop, we will continue to Merzouga driving through some rocky desert landscape. Upon arrival at the edge of Erg Chebbi dunes, we will meet our camel caravan, and ride our camels through the amazing color-changing sand dunes with the sunset in the horizon as a backdrop. Third day : We reach our Sahara desert camp, nestled in the middle of nowhere, just before darkness. After some time to admire the sand dunes and the surrounding landscapes, get ready for a Moroccan dinner served under the stars next to the camp fire. Late at night, you local nomad hosts will be entertaining you with their drums. An early wake up to enjoy the sunrise over the highest dunes of Erg Chebbi in Merzouga one of the best moments of the desert, afterwards you will have breakfast in the camp, pack and go back either on camels or by 4x4 leaving the dunes behind. Back on the asphalt roads, you will drive to Marrakech through Alnif, Tazarine, Draa valley,Agdez and Ouarazazate. In Ourazazate we will have free time for lunch and a photo stop in front of the famous Taourirt Kasbah. Afterwards we will continue to Marrakech, where your Merzouga desert experience ends. Crossing again the Atlas Mountains and the Berber villages between Ouarzazate and Marrakech. Drop off at your accommodation.

We will be crossing the High Atlas Mountains, Tizi-n-Tichka passing through few Kasbahs and the traditional Atlas Berber villages, continuing driving on the Mountains, after few hours on the Atlas Mountains we will get to Kasbah Ait Ben Haddou, a UNESCO World Heritage site. We will have some walk visiting and have lunch near the Kasbah, then we continue to Ourzazate where you will visit the atlas studios then Skoura and Dades taking the road of 1000 kasbahs drive around the colourful Berber villages of the Dades valley, to get to Tineghir A beautiful valley of 15 km of date palms ending with spectacular Gorges, often used for rock climbing. The road to the Gorge of todgha passes green palmeraies and Berber villages, where we go on a trek along the canyons of about 300m high. Afterwards we will head to Erg Chebbi dunes in Merzouga Sahara Desert. After an early breakfast, and a camel ride back to the main road where you will meet your driver and vehicle and drive back to Ouarzazate. After some time at leisure for lunch, we carry on in the afternoon to Marrakech through the High Atlas Mountains.
