Welcome to the Truffle Hunting Excursion with Truffle Hunter Italy. Ready for an unforgettable adventure in the heart of Piedmont?
Our tour begins with a short briefing to discover the secrets of truffle hunting, followed by an introduction to our adorable and trained truffle hunting dog, ready to guide us to discover these underground treasures.
After learning the searching techniques, we will immerse ourselves in the woods, guided by our expert truffle hunter and his faithful four-legged companion. You will have the opportunity to witness and actively participate in the magic of truffle discovery, letting yourself be enchanted by the unique atmosphere of the Piedmontese woods.
Once we have found the truffles, we will dedicate ourselves to an in-depth sensory analysis to fully appreciate their unique characteristics, from intense aromas to complex flavors.
But the adventure doesn't end here! After the truffle hunt, a delicious tasting of three glasses of Gavi wine awaits you, accompanied by a refined aperitif with the best local products. Introduction to the truffle dog and its training.
Truffle hunting (1 hour):
At the end of the truffle hunt, you will return to the starting point.
A sensorial analysis session of the truffles found will be held, guided by our expert, to understand the organoleptic characteristics of this delicious mushroom.
Subsequently, we will move to a location dedicated to tasting.
The tasting will begin (approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes) of three glasses of Gavi wine, accompanied by an assortment of local products selected to enhance the flavors of the wines and truffles.
During the tasting, you will have the opportunity to deepen your knowledge on the characteristics of local wines and products, guided by an expert sommelier.
