Exciting Kafue National Park (Central Region) 2N, 3D
Kafue National Park covers a massive area in western Zambia. It’s known for its abundant wildlife and the Kafue River, running north to south through the park. In the north, the fertile Busanga Plains are home to lions, zebras, abundant birdlife and the sycamore fig trees of Busanga Swamps. In the more remote south, elephants and antelopes roam the Nanzhila Plains, and hippos swim in the waters of Lake Itezhi-Tezhi. Mwamfushi is located in Kafue National Park GMA exactly 310Kms from the city of Lusaka approximately 4hours drive. The road to the camp is all weather friendly accesible even with small cars during dry season, only in the rain season there is you need a high car. Guest willing to use public transport can come by busses to mongu and drop at kafue river hook bridge and arrange to be picked by our transfer vehicle at affordable rates, we have 9 Chalets, 8 of which are twin or double thatched/Tented Chalets and 1 three bedroom family cottage all onthe river banks. Each chalet has an authentic layout to maximize the experience.

You will travel from Livingstone to kafue using the dundumwezi road enroute to kafue National park.
