Five of these Murchison Falls, Semliki, Kibale, Queen Elizabeth, and Bwindi are in the Western arm of the Great East African Rift Valley! Your trip starts with Murchison Falls Conservation Area, the largest in the country, with chimps, birds, crocodile, and game. Visit the dramatic Falls from which the park derives its name. Drive the long journey westwards to Semliki Game Reserve for chimps, birds and game. Kibale Forest, nearby, is home to thirteen species of primates the highest in tropical Africa. 8 Days Ultimate Uganda Primate Safari is very unique and exceptional tour allowing you to be in touch with one of the most untouched areas in our planet.

DAY 1: Arrival Upon arrival at Entebbe Airport, you will be met by our driver guide for introductions and then transfer to your guesthouse. O/N: African Roots Guest House (BB) DAY 2: Entebbe – Kibale Forest National Park After breakfast at the guesthouse, we will head out for Fort portal via Mityana and Mubende through tea plantations of Kyenjojo to the land of `mountains of the Moon’ magic silhouette for lunch. After a pleasant lunch head for the incredible Amabere ga Nyinamwiru caves and search for missing breast of the Toro princes explore some crater lakes and carry on for a night in Kibale Forest Park for a jaunty sleep on an innate divan. O/N: Chimpanzee Forest Guest House (Main House) or similar (FB). DAY 3: Kibale forest park – Bigodi Swamp Track man’s closest primates in Kibale forest the highly populated in the region. Kibale is a tropical rain forest with other primates like bush babies, baboons, black-and-white colobus, red-tailed monkey, and several bird species together with trees including the Elephant beer tree, all can be spotted on a nature walk in the forest. Take a lunch break and head to Bigodi for a swamp walk on the trails by the local community. O/N: Chimpanzee Forest Guest House (Main House) or similar (FB). DAY 4: Kibale – Queen Elizabeth Park This morning after a hearty breakfast, we will depart for Queen Elizabeth Park, nourish on a tranquil lunch and there after go for a game drive in the park searching animals. O/N: Kazinga Channel View Resort or similar (FB). DAY 5: Queen Elizabeth National Park Set off early in morning for a game drive in the Kasenyi area with vast number of animals of the pearl, visit Katwe salt lake and buffalos can never miss your sight here. Guinea fowls and other bird species, elephants, giraffes, and Kobs in their mating grounds can be viewed as there are chances seeing tree climbing lions on your rummage. After lunch take an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga channel as you view fauna at a closer range, hippos, other animals and several bird species will be seen as the get water to douse themselves. O/N: Kazinga Channel View Resort or similar (FB). DAY 6: Queen Elizabeth to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park Today, after breakfast at the hotel, we will drive through the picturesque landscape of south western Uganda tor your hotel near Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. We will have a rest as we prepare for gorilla tracking the following day. O/N: Tourist Hotel or Similar (FB). DAY 7: Gorilla Tracking (Bwindi/Mgahinga) Track gorillas after an early morning breakfast, this is the climax of the tour gorilla tracking can take 3 -9 hours on walking in the jungle before one returns to his/her accommodation. The jungle, precipitous landscape and rain may make the tour challenging but with a close encounter face-face with the largest primate of Africa is a remarkable experience you will ever have in life. O/N: Tourist Hotel or Similar (FB). DAY 8: Departure Take your breakfast at leisure (depending on your flight time), transfer to Entebbe International Airport where you will board your flight back home.
