Itinerary
We shall pick you up from your hotel in Stone Town at 9:00 am and 8:00 am from beach hotel and head towards the city harbour, where a boat will be waiting for us.
We'll hop on board and set sail for about 20 minutes until we reach Changuu Island, also known as Prison Island, as it was once used as a prison for slaves and a quarantine centre for people with yellow fever.
We'll visit one of its biggest attractions: the giant tortoises, which were imported from Seychelles at the end of the 19th century. Next, we'll go snorkelling to discover the area's marine life. It is a perfect picture moment as well
After the prison visit we shall take sail to the sandbank of Pange. There you will spend the best part of the day soaking in the sun or taking a cool plunge in the turquoise waters that surround you. You can simply relax or take a swim and snorkel. The under- water world is truly amazing. The tropical fish that swim amongst the beautiful, live coral reef around the sandbank is a marvelous sight. After you have worked up an appetite, you will sit down and relax while enjoying chilled drinks and can take part in preparation of your lunch seafood BBQ.
At the end of the tour we'll make our way back to Stone Town and drop you off at your hotels
