It’s the perfect fusion of good eats, a powerful message that might just stay with you for life, and you can’t go wrong with the photo of panoramic views and brilliant colors full of hope filled slogans. Kind people, tons of places just to vibe, enjoy all kinds of art forms and some of the best street dancing I’ve ever seen. Here’s my story: I studied this community development in uni, and forgot about it until I found myself standing in the street with soulful tears, at what an incredible transformation story this place has. …and I keep going back, because the magic of comuna 13 is that it has a message for everyone. Specifically, I took this tour with Bryan. He shared his own story across 4 generations, and we became friends because of the genuine warmth and passion he has as a catalytic generation to share comuna 13’s story. Of all the salsa, hiking, and fusion food I’ve done in Medellin, this is by far my favorite.  Hide review

He was very patient, knowledgeable, and professional, making sure everything was fine for all of our group.  Biking was super fun with all the safety gear. Chino was flexible for those who were going slowly, but the views were worth it.  Rafting was one of my favorite parts, probably of the group as well. Hiking through the forest, with some stops to learn about the local flora and fauna, was great. Our guide showed us how the locals grow different crops and plantations for themselves. Zipline and Machu Picchu were stunning; we also loved these and had a great time.  I would definitely recommend the tour to anyone planning a trip, and asking Chino to be your guide will be the best decision to lead you through the beautiful route to Machu Picchu.  Hide review

There were three activities within this tour which were all great and highly recommended. He even took me to a hidden gem which I have to say was my favorite by far. Learning the history gave me a new found love and appreciation for the artists behind each one. All were beautiful and meaningful in there own way!  Hide review

Our guide was Urbano, who did an incredible job informing us about the area, its history, and leading us through stunning places. Food and extra activities were super nice; they prepared local and fresh meals for us.  Accommodations along the route were also great; we got private rooms with private bathrooms.  We highly recommend this incredible experience in the jungle of Peru.  Hide review

After pick up from our hotel , we drove about an hour to the yacht which sailed for 2.5 hours to beautiful Bartolomew . Lovely... Show full review ➤ After pick up from our hotel , we drove about an hour to the yacht which sailed for 2.5 hours to beautiful Bartolomew . Lovely hike and photo and explanation of tye area, followed with snorkling and excellent lunch. Another 3.5 hours returning to hotel. Overall professional guide and yacht staff and great skipper to navigate in semi rough sea. I believe that tye trip should add extra time for snorkling -it is too much to spend 7 hours in travelling out of 9.5 hours trip! We loved the hike, water activity and lunch was amazing, not to mention the lovely snacks on the way.  Hide review
