The Prespa region is characterized by many sunny days, while along the shore of the Prespa Lake there are several beautiful sandy beaches. You are constantly surrounded by mountains with lush vegetation. All that along with the clear lake water will not leave you indifferent and will constantly invite you to bathing and relaxation.
One of the most beautiful gifts of nature in Europe is the Ohrid Lake and its surroundings. It's enough to just see it staying at a distance, hear the waves and stare in the infinite blue to fall in love with it. The lake is located in the southwestern part of Macedonia, it is between 4 and 10 million years old, and therefore it is the oldest on our continent. At first glance it can confuse you with its size, so you might consider it to be a sea. Its surface is 358.2 km2

Day 1
We will pick you up in the morning from your hotel in Skopje. In a few hour drive you will arrive in Prilep and have a coffee break in the city center. After Prilep drive towards Prespa lake. Upon arrival in the Prespa region possibility to have a lunch at a local rural restaurant near the lake. We recommend you to taste the local fish.
While in the area we will visit to the famous St. George church located above the village Kurbinovo, with unique fresco paintings from 11th century,
Drive along Prespa lake and on picturesque narrow mountain road across Galichica National park and Galichica mountain, situated between both Prespa and Ohrid lakes. Late afternoon visit to St Naum monastery on the south part of Ohrid lake. Overnight in Ohrid.
Day 2
In a morning guided Ohrid walking tour and visit to the most famous Ohrid sights.
Drive towards Struga, the second biggest town on Ohrid lake coast with coffee stop. Drive along the lake to visit villages Kalishta and Radojda.
Late afternoon drive back to Skopje.
