Description
2 days private tour to East Macedonia - from Skopje
Berovo Lake extends along pine trees and deciduous trees. The mysterious, peaceful and meek landscape painting adorns the Maleshevo Mountains. They are part of an untouched nature concealed in the pine and deciduous forest, where Berovo Lake is peacefully calm. There, a man simply inhales the sight that has peacefully spread around him, marveling at all that beauty that is a paradise for the eyes and soul.
Kratovo, the city of medieval towers and bridges, is founded in the crater of an extinguished volcano. The relief conditions of the space required in Kratovo a special architectural and construction approach, that is, a typical Kratovo architecture to develop.

Day 1
Pick in the morning up from your hotel or address in Skopje and drive to the east part of the country. Arrival and visit to Kuklici, so called "The valley of stone dolls" - a natural phenomenon, caused by the long-lasting erosion of volcanic rock with varying resistance: ignimbrites, andesite and tuffs. Later on arrival to Kratovo, the city of medieval towers and bridges, founded in the crater of an extinguished volcano. Walk in the city and coffee break. After Kratovo visit to Lesnovo Monastery, one of the biggest Macedonian monasteries.
In the afternoon arrival to Berovo. Possibility to have a walk by the lake and dam. Accommodation at traditional hotel Manastir and overnight in Berovo.
Day 2
Morning drive on a mountain road from Berovo towards the city of Strumica. Strumica is a cultural, trade and political center of the Southeast region that actually covers the valley between the mountains Belasica, Ograzden and Elenica. Visit to Koleshino waterfalls near the city and Veljusa monastery.
In the afternoon arrival at the biggest wine region of Macedonia - Tikvesh. You will be invited to visit a local winery and have a wine tasting accompanied with traditional meal.
Arrival in Skopje early in the evening.
