Day 1 : Airport - Antananarivo

Upon arrival on the big island, you are greeted by our team who will take you to your hotel.

Day 2 : Antananarivo - Andasibe
160km of road +/-4h by car
Departure East by taking the RN2 to reach the Andasibe National Park. During this course, the lush vegetation as far as the eye can see, the animals that find refuge there will give you peace and quiet.
A stop will be proposed to the reserve of Peyrieras for an observation of butterflies, chameleons, snakes or crocodiles.
Arrival in Andasibe in the middle of the day and arrival at the hotel.
In the afternoon, we will visit the private reserve of Vakôna by taking the canoe to access the islet of lemurs that makes the reputation of the reserve

Day 3 : Andasibe
Part of the Malagasy Eastern Forest Corridor, a World Natural Heritage Site since 2007, a visit to the Andasibe Analamazaotra National Park is a must. Indeed, the park has an exceptional biodiversity and unique in the world on both fauna and flora. Many species of birds, mammals, reptiles and amphibians find refuge in this dense rainforest not to mention the largest lemur in the world which is the Indri Indri.

Day 4 : Andasibe - Ankann'ny Nofy
125km of road and 8km of track +/-2h30 by car and 2h30 by boat
We leave Andasibe to reach the village of Manambato at the edge of Lake Rasoabe where we board a motorboat.
About 2 hours and half of navigation on the Canal des Pangalanes to reach Akanin'ny Nofy or dream nest, a remote corner located between the Canal des Pangalanes and the Indian Ocean very appreciated for its serene atmosphere, its fishing villages and its idyllic landscapes.

Day 5 : Ankanin'ny Nofy
This day will be dedicated to the discovery of the locality and its surroundings. We start with the visit of the primary forest of Vohibola in the early morning, a real safe of nature;
We continue with a canoe ride on the Pangalane Canal and then join the village of Andranokoditra for a visit of this small fishing village.
You will be invited by the women craftsmen to join them to go and recover the raw materials and to learn about basketry and the manufacture of fish traps

Day 6 : Ankanin'ny Nofy - Ambatomanga
8km of track and 310km of road +/-2h30mn by boat and 6h by car
Opportunity to attend, for early risers, the sunrise and departure of fishermen on the Indian Ocean.
We leave Akanin'ny Nofy afterwards and will embark again for a navigation on the Pangalanes Canal back to Manambato in a peaceful atmosphere.
Drive to reach Ambatomanga village crossing villages and rice fields to, it’s a small village typical of the Malagasy highlands that has preserved its authenticity and charm.

Day 7 : Ambatomanga
Today, we will explore the village of Ambatomanga accompanied by a local guide who will share with us the smallest details of this most charming rural environment.
A visit to the cheese factory that makes the reputation of the region in the early morning. We will then visit the village with the blue rock as its name translates literally. We will cross the rice fields and villages without missing the talented craftsmen of the locality.
Opportunity to visit the large market of Alarobia every Wednesday to see the villagers who arrive from all around to exchange and negotiate products.

Day 8 : Ambatomanga - Antananarivo

After the breakfast, we leave Ambatomanga to reach the capital.
Before arriving, you’ll visit the tinsmith workshop of Dieudonné and Violette to meet this small structure whose primary activity is the transformation of iron into decorative and artistic objects, who has since been able to expand its limits in other branches of society in order to help people with precarious conditions and disabilities who work there. Then, you are transferred to the airport for your check-in.
