The Baobab Coast is a Tour that would allow you to discover the South-West Coast of the Big Island with the different species of Baobabs existing on the Island as well as the famous Baobab Alley, Sacred Baobabs, Loving Baobab and several Baobab Forests in the best known is that of Andavadaoka and its tattooed Baobabs, you would also have the opportunity to visit the Tsingy of Bemaraha national park and the Tsiribihina river trip in a barge to be in total immersion with nature and the local population.

Day1 : Airport – Tana
Welcome and picked up at the airport then transfer and installation at the hotel.
Day2 : Tana – Antsirabe
Departure in the morning heading to national road 7, commonly known as the Southern route, stop will be Antsirabe, 170 km from the capital. We are in the Vakinankaratra region. A short stop in the small town of Ambatolampy, capital of Mimosa (flowering in July/August) and recognized for the Ankaratra massif as the third highest point of the Big Island; renowned for its foundries and artisanal distilleries. Night at the hotel
Day3 : Antsirabe – Miandrivazo
After breakfast, departure by car to visit the volcanic lake of Tritriva and Andraikiba as well as Betafo village. Then head for the West road; with its variations of landscape to end with the arid landscape for around four hours of driving always by car. Night at the hotel.
Day4 : Tsiribihina River Trip
Transfer in the morning to the Masiakampy pier then start down by Barge along the Tsiribihina River Overnight stay in Bivouacs on the sandbanks of the river
Day5 : Tsiribihina River Trip
Visit to the waterfall and swimming, visit to the Begidro village and meet the villagers, possibility of seeing Nile crocodiles and bats, lively evening and meals are specially prepared by the guide. Overnight in bivouacs.
Day6 : Belo sur Tsiribihina – Bekopaka
Arriving in Belo sur Tsiribihina on the third day at noon, Transfer by 4x4 to Bekopaka the village near the Tsingy national park. Night at the hotel.
Day7 : Tsingy Bemaraha National Park
A day to visiting and hiking in the Bemaraha national park, the morning Andamozavaky Tour or the Grand Tsingy (4 hours walk), the afternoon an hour and a half visit Andadoany Tour or the small Tsingy. Night at the same hotel.
Day8 : Bekopaka – Morondava
Departure in the morning heading to Morondava, lunch in Belo sur Tsiribihina, after lunch head to Morondava passing by the great Sacred Baobab, the loving Baobab and the avenues of the Baobabs. Night at the hotel.
Day9 : Morondava – Belo sur Mer
Departure in the morning for around three hours drive heading to the fishing village of Belo sur Mer. Night at the hotel. Free afternoon
Day10 : Belo sur Mer – Andavadoaka
Continuation still on the Baobab coast, this time it is the route linking Belo sur Mer to Andavadoaka. Ferry crossing lasting around ten minutes, before starting the coastal track.
As you approach Morombe, baobabs still make up most of the landscape. Morombe is famous for its giant baobab, with a circumference of almost 20 meters. On the road to Andavadoaka, we will pass through a forest of baobabs... Like on the Allée des Baobabs, majestic trees that flirt with the sky. A waking dream for visitors...The feeling of the tiny importance of human beings in the face of the immensity of nature...Overnight at hotel
Day11 : Andavadoaka - Ambatomiloha
We take a two-hour sandy track to reach the paradisiacal lagoon of Ambatomiloha.
On your arrival in Ambatomiloha, a small village of white sand and wooden houses, your guide will install you at the hotel. Free afternoon: you can relax after these several days of driving...or visit the surrounding area.
Day12 : Ambatomiloha
Day off, so you can fully enjoy the tranquility, the sea, the fine sand, the beauty of the landscapes.
Paradise beaches, the emerald blue of the Mozambique Channel, fishing boats sailing on water of incomparable purity, Vezo women busy with their various activities... Experience the change of scenery and the tranquility of the Big Island to the fullest. Night at the same hotel.
J13 : Ambatomiloha – Tuléar – Tana
Transfer to the airport then flight to Tana by the flight which connects Tuléar to Tana. Overnight at the hotel
J14 : Tana - Aéroport
Visit and a short city tour and souvenir shopping according to time available then transfer to the airport.
