Sancerre Wine & Cheese Experience
Sancerre: Wine and Cheese Experience
This event is hosted in historic Sancerre village, walking distance from the town square and wine museum. This is a 2 hour event, seated, in a relaxing environment.
We will experience 5 wines from Sancerre and the Loire Valley, which stretches 170 KM from the Sancerre region to the Atlantic Ocean. Typically we will try a mix of white, red, rosé and sparkling (my absolute favorite)!
Our local goat cheese, Crottin de Chavignol, is the star of our cheese pairing. It is the perfect match for a Sancerre Sauvignon Blanc. We try some other French cheese (the selection varies seasonally) as well as a few other local specialties.
If you are studying French, we can practice some wine and cheese vocabulary. But this is totally optional!
My goal is for you to have a great time and perhaps discover a new favorite wine or cheese!
