Cycling - On country roads around Trakošćan

Cycling from the Trakošćan castle to Bednja and back through the nearby villages is a special sporting and aesthetic-spiritual experience of the Bednja region, full of historical sights and personalities associated with them, green-brown views of forests and fields, traditional architecture and hospitable residents. Driving through the village of Šinkovica, we reach the center of Bednja, a place of rich cultural and historical heritage. There is an interesting church next to which is the cemetery of the Drašković noble family, the most important owners of the Trakošćan castle and a protected linden tree, which is 250 years old. With fields and forests, we climb the slopes of the Ravna Gora mountain and drive through villages full of traditional architecture. We take the macadam road to Cvetlin and Trakošćan, the starting point.
