Description
Cycling - History and traditional crafts of Marija Bistrica
Before the ride, we will adjust your bikes and familiarize you with the safety rules and inform you about the content of the program. During the drive, we will visit the shrine of Mother of God Bistrica and Maria Bistrica. We will tell you the historical story of Marija Bistrica and present the traditional gingerbread-medicine craft and traditional wooden toys under the protection of UNESCO. We will visit the sculpture park with numerous wooden statues with religious, historical and traditional motifs. We will have a pleasant drive to Vinski vrh and see the old chapel of the Mother of God. There is also a viewpoint from which we will see Hrvatsko Zagorje. After a long drive downhill along small vineyards and authentic Zagorje vineyards, we will arrive at the farm where we will hang out with the horses. Driving along a local country road, we will reach Hellenbach Castle, where we will tell you the story of the people who lived there. On the way back, we will drive to the open-air Church and look at it.
