Duration: 2.5 hours
Sit back and relax in ‘Bessie’, our comfortable 4WD, air conditioned, 27 seat bus, as we take you along the wild side of Magnetic Island to West Point. Enjoy a complimentary drink and a shared platter on the beach while you watch the sun set over the Coral Sea.
FITNESS LEVEL & ACCESSIBILITY
A little low impact walking can be done during the tour along the beach at West Point. This tour offers a more a relaxing wander rather than an active adventure. ??We have a drop down step to the bus that also makes accessibility easier.

By ferry from Townsville: Catch the 3.50pm Sealink ferry from the Townsville Breakwater terminal on Thiess Drive.
By bus on Magnetic Island: Catch the 3.55pm Kinetic bus from the Horseshoe Bay beachfront to the Nelly Bay ferry terminal.
GETTING HOME
By ferry to Townsville: Catch the 8.00pm Sealink ferry from the Nelly Bay terminal.
By bus on Magnetic Island: Catch the 8.00pm Kinetic bus from the Nelly Bay ferry terminal through to Horseshoe Bay

After being picked up in either Nelly Bay or Picnic Bay, you will travel down the West Coast towards West Point. Along the way we pass, sandy bays, mangroves, cross creeks, search for koalas and wildlife. Once at the remote and off grid West Point, you will be treated to gourmet shared platers and champagne, or drinks of your choice. Once the sun has set, we travel back to the start under the cover of darkness, keeping a lookout for all the nocturnal wildlife.
