Victoria Falls canoeing company operates and runs canoeing safari trips in the Zambezi national park, above the Victoria Falls. These safaris range from one day trip to three days two nights’ trips. Tents and food are provided for camping trips with back up camping safari staff which includes chef, waiter and camp hands. We use two men stand in dome tents and we provide mattresses, sleeping bags as well as liners. In addition, We offer deluxe tents for those who would be willing to use them instead of dome tents. We take a minimum of two people for day trips and maximum of 25 (special arrangements can be made for larger groups upon request) Our minimum age limit for canoeing safaris is 9 years and there is no maximum age limit but sound judgement should be used by the management. No previous canoeing experience is necessary but guests are required to be reasonably fit and healthy. Animals seen on these safaris are usually buffalos, elephants, Impalas, water bucks, hippos, crocodiles, lions, leopards, hyenas etc. Birdlife is plenty full. We cannot guarantee on animals that would be seen during the safari trip.
Our canoeing safaris begin and end in Victoria Falls City. We do not recommend clients to take valuables with them on the river. Guests are picked up from their respective places of stay between 07:00 and 08:00 in the morning. For Camping trips guests are picked in the morning or in the afternoon. For camping trips, upon pickup time, guests are allowed to purchase any additional groceries or personal items they may require. The safari commences with a 2 to 3hr game drive into the camp.

Itinerary
Guests are picked up from their respective places of stay between 07:00am to 07:45. A short briefing will then be given to help guests understand what the trip entails. We then drive to the Zambezi National Park gate for park fees payment. After payment, we drive to the launch site through the Zambezi national park for about one and half hours, however, the time for the drive depends on what we encounter during our drive to the launch site. Animals seen on these trips usually include waterbuck, buffalos, hippo, elephants, crocodiles, zebras, giraffes, bush backs and cats though rarely seen but certainly in the area. Upon arrival at the launch site tea and coffee is served with light breakfast. Safety talk and demonstration on how to paddle an inflatable canoe will be given. Soon after the briefing the canoeing trip starts from the starting point going through some scenic channels and rapids until we break for lunch. After lunch we pack and drive back to town arriving around 13:30 to 14:00pm
