10-Day Kruger-Victoria Falls-Chobe-Okavango Delta Tour

Day 1

Transfer from airport to Sabi sands

We will pick you up at Mpumalanga International Airport around 7 am. We travel east, passing picturesque landscapes and farmlands en-route to our lodge in Sabi Sands. We will have comfort stops along the way where you will be able to buy snacks and refreshments.

We arrive in the early afternoon at the camp. After check-in, you will have time to relax and freshen up before boarding an open-sided game-viewer for an exciting afternoon, sunset and night game drive. Along the way, you will stop for sundowners before continuing the night safari. Return to the camp and enjoy your time around a boma fire and drinks at the bar before a full-course dinner. You will overnight in your semi-luxury safari tent.

Day 2

Safari activities in Sabi Sands

In the early morning, enjoy some light refreshments like juice, tea/coffee, followed by a sunrise game drive in an open Land Cruiser. We will have a tea and coffee stop en-route before continuing with the exciting morning game drive that is sure to present some fantastic sightings and photo opportunities. Afterward, return to the lodge where a hearty breakfast will be served.

After breakfast you will have some downtime to relax. Some things to do include swimming, sunbathing, relaxing, and visiting the lookout viewpoints and games room. In the afternoon, we enjoy a light lunch. Late afternoon, we depart on an afternoon, sunset and night safari, enjoying sundowners at a viewpoint along the way. After the night safari, you return to the camp where you can relax and enjoy some drinks at the bar or around the boma fire. Enjoy a great dinner and overnight in your bespoke accommodation.

Day 3

Sabi Sands to Johannesburg via Panorama Route to Victoria Falls and Dinner Sundowner Cruise

In the early morning, we will meet for light refreshments like juice and tea/coffee, followed by a sunrise game drive or an exciting bush walk. After your safari activity, enjoy a scrumptious breakfast at camp before your departure.

We do a late morning tour along the Panorama Route. Scenic stops include Bourke's Luck Potholes, God's Window and the Blyde River Canyon. We return to Johannesburg in the late afternoon where we drop you off by arrangement.

You will fly to Victoria Falls and arrive around 1400hrs so that you don't miss out the sundowner dinner cruise where you will sit and relax enjoying the breathtaking views of the sun set. Also animals like elephants buffaloes have been seen along the Zambezi river drinking water as well as the crocodiles and hippopotamus. Kids will be given soft drinks whiles adults enjoy an open bar as well as snacks.

Day 4

Guided tour of the Mighty Falls, Scenic Helicopter flight and Boma Dinner

The day is spent appreciating and cherishing the beauty of the Victoria Falls. Starting with a morning tour of the falls you will go through all the 16 points of the falls with the guide leading you and sharing some fascinating facts about one of the largest waterfalls in the world. On exit, you will proceed to see an act of engineering prowess on the Victoria Falls bridge. We then visit to the Lookout Café for lunch.

After having taken lunch you then be transferred to the helipad for a 12 minutes scenic helicopter flight above the falls and the Zambezi National park. This tour will allow you to gain full appreciation of the Victoria Falls through capturing the views from the air. The energy and vibe of The Boma – Dinner & Drum Show will captivate you before you even set foot inside, as at the moment you arrive, you are ceremoniously dressed in your chitenge (sarong), before being welcomed by traditional dancers and a mini face paint.

Day 5

Transfer to Chobe for Camping Safari

We start the day by a transfer from Victoria Falls to Kasane in Botswana. We will start our day with a morning boat safari in the Chobe River. The hippos, crocodiles and amazing birdlife all await to host us. Elephants can also be seen, bathing and playing in water while most of the animals can be spotted as they come for the precious liquid on the banks of the Chobe River.

The boat safari will last for 3hours before we go for lunch. After lunch we go on a game drive inside the Chobe National Park, trying by all means to be as thorough as possible. The drive will take place up to 1700hrs when we drive to the campsite. We will find some welcome snacks.

Day 6

A full day game drive in Chobe

Waking up as early as 0500hrs, you will be treated to a light continental breakfast before heading off on an early morning game drive. At this time the big cats still active giving them more chances to see them. Around mid to late morning we return to camp for a delicious “bush brunch”.

The afternoon is spent with relaxing in the camp and enjoying the refreshing air of the African bush. At 1500hrs, we go on a different route altogether in search of spotting more animals. The Chobe present an amazing safari and each game drive is different. We expect to return to the camp at 1800hrs for dinner.

After dinner its time to reflect on the memories of the afternoon sightings and sharing stories with other members of the group.

Day 7

Wrap up safari in Chobe National Park

Our safari ends with an early morning game drive whose purpose is to wrap up and spot whatever we would have missed throughout the first two days. We wake up as early as 0500hrs for the drive and embark on 4hour safari before we return to camp for breakfast. After refreshing, we pack out bags and drive to the exit of the park. With mother luck on our side this will be the icing of the safari as we are bound to spot some more animals on our way out.

After the half day safari you will be transferred the airport where you will fly to Okavango delta. You will be picked up at Maun Airport where you will meet your ranger and guide before leaving on your 20-minute drive to your tented lodge, Depending on your time of arrival, you will have some time for a quick dip in the pool while exploring the lodge’s natural surroundings, before leaving on an amazing 2-hour sunset Mokoro safari on the Boteti River.

Day 8

Full Day Mokoro Safari – Okavango Delta

You'll wake up just after sunrise, with the crisp morning air filling your lungs. A fresh cup of coffee/tea and homemade biscuits await at the main deck area for you to enjoy. A delicious packed breakfast will be supplied, as you will have an early morning departure on your full-day mokoro safari in the Okavango Delta.

Your mokoro safari will begin as you head out into the many reed channels of the Okavango Delta. Your guide will also interpret nature to you in a unique manner and show you traditional and medicinal uses of wild plants in the Delta.

A stop will be made at one of the many islands to enjoy your packed lunch before heading on a nature walk to discover more of this abundant ecosystem.

After some relaxation, you will continue your adventure exploring more of these unlimited channels. Choose to stop at any other islands as you may please.

After returning to the lodge, you will have some time to freshen up before dinner.

Dinner will be served under the stars in the open boma.

Day 9

Full Day Game Drive in Moremi

You'll wake up just after sunrise, with the crisp morning air filling your lungs. A fresh cup of coffee/tea and homemade biscuits await at the main deck area for you to enjoy. A delicious packed breakfast will be supplied, as you will have an early morning departure on your full-day safari game drive in Moremi / Khwai Reserves.

Experience this in an open game vehicle specially converted, allowing one to absorb and experience sightings with all of your senses when up and close to wildlife. Your experienced game ranger will teach you about all aspects of nature and interpret wildlife behaviour to you in a unique way.

A packed lunch will be served in style by your guide at one of the beautiful rest camps along the way.

You should return to the lodge by about 4:00 pm.

After returning to the lodge, you will have some time to freshen up and take in the marvellous sunset overlooking the Boteti River from our deck.

Dinner will be served under the stars in the open boma.

Day 10

Morning Relaxation and Departure

Enjoy a scrumptious breakfast in a more relaxed fashion this morning, taking in the breathtaking surroundings one last time before you prepare for checkout and transfer to Maun. The friendly lodge staff will bid you farewell before a transfer back to Maun Airport or your choice of drop off point within Maun. This is the end of your tour.
