Hanoi City Tour 1 Day: Explore Iconic Landmarks, History & Culture

07:50 – 8:15: Our guide will pick you up from your hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter or Hanoi Opera House (meeting point).

08:20 – 8:30: Arrival at Tran Quoc Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in Hanoi, built in the 6th century. Learn about Buddhism in Vietnam and marvel the scenic view of West Lake.

09:00 – 09:15: Visit the Ho Chi Minh Complex, where you'll have the opportunity to view the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh. Afterward, take a leisurely walk around the garden to see the two houses where he lived and worked from 1954 to 1969. Then, explore the unique One Pillar Pagoda, dedicated to the Goddess of Mercy.

10:30 – 11:00: Choose between two options:

Option 1: Visit the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology to learn about the culture of the 54 ethnic groups living in Vietnam (available on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays).

Option 2: Explore Bat Trang ceramic village, where you'll gain insight into the daily lives of locals and learn about the intricate process of making ceramics (available on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays).

12:30: Enjoy a delicious lunch at our restaurant, featuring eight delectable Vietnamese dishes.

13:30 – 13:45: Continue your tour with a visit to the Temple of Literature, Vietnam's first university, established in the 11th century. Admire the well-preserved architecture dating back to the 11th century. Learn about Confucianism and the traditional Vietnamese education system.

15:45: Depart for Hoan Kiem Lake to visit Ngoc Son Temple, situated on a small island within the lake and dedicated to General Tran Hung Dao, who famously defeated invaders in the 13th century. Take a leisurely stroll around the lake to soak in the late afternoon ambiance.

16:15: The tour concludes. Our guide will accompany you back to your hotel!
