Day 0: Hanoi to Lao Cai City and Sapa by Night Train and Bus

Evening: Hotels pick-up in Hanoi’s Old Quarter to Hanoi Railway Station for Lao Cai City. Overnight on train.

Day 1: Arrival in Lao Cai City & Sapa Town – Day Trek to Ethic Minority Villages

Morning: Arrive in Lao Cai City in the early morning then transferred to Sapa via private car from train station in Lao Cai City.

Early check into your hotel is possible and if the rooms are available otherwise we will provide you a basic hotel room which you can have shower or change clothes then have breakfast at restaurant.

9:30 AM: Meet your local guide and start your trekking journey.

First trek of 6Km through the lush terraced rice fields and scenic landscapes. Start trekking down to the south-east part of Sapa along the side of Muong Hoa valley to the Black H’Mong village, Y Linh Ho. Interact with the local ethnic minority villagers, learning about their way of life and customs.

Continue 2Km trekking through the villages of Lao Chai, and Ta Van of the Dzay minority people. This gives you a good chance to learn about the local house’s architecture which is full of their daily life styles and exclusive traditional custom.

Midday: Lunch at the local family and amidst the stunning natural surroundings.

Afternoon: Last trek is about 2Km to the bus stop in Ta Van village then get back to Sapa by jeep or motorbike. Check-in hotel and have a rest.

Free time to explore Sapa town, visit the local night market, and interact with ethnic minorities like the Hmong and Red Dao in the town.

Evening: Enjoy a traditional dinner prepared by our tour guide.

Overnight stay at the hotel, immersing yourself in the local culture.

Day 2: Sapa - Cat Cat Village - Sin Chai Village

Morning: Breakfast at your hotel and get ready for 8Km to Cat Cat & Sin Chai villages.

Embark on an enriching trekking journey through the picturesque landscapes of Sapa as you delve into the heart of local culture and tradition. Begin your day with a scenic trek to Cat Cat Village, home to the Black Hmong ethnic minority.

Here, immerse yourself in the vibrant tapestry of Black Hmong life, witnessing age-old customs and intricate handicrafts. Explore the village's narrow pathways lined with traditional H’Mong houses, and interact with friendly locals as you learn about their daily routines. Explore the village, learn about traditional handicrafts, and enjoy cultural performances.

Midday: Picnic lunch by the side of the river.

Afternoon: Afterward, continue your adventure to Sin Chai Village, nestled amidst terraced rice fields and lush greenery. This lesser-known gem offers a serene escape into nature, where you can marvel at the beauty of cascading waterfalls and breathe in the fresh mountain air. Engage with the hospitable inhabitants of Sin Chai, gaining insight into their unique way of life and deep-rooted traditions.

Enjoy the scenic beauty and take some memorable photos before take a car to return hotel in Sapa town.

Evening: Discover cozy cafes offering local brews, wander the vibrant Night Market for artisan crafts, and savor mountain-inspired cuisine in quaint restaurants. Sapa's nightlife is a serene blend of relaxation and cultural immersion, promising unforgettable evenings beneath starlit skies.

Day 3: Sapa - Suoi Thau - Ma Tra - Ta Phin - Sapa - Lao Cai City - Hanoi

Morning: Breakfast at the hotel.

Resume your trekking adventure towards hill-tribe villages. Embark on a trekking journey to explore the vibrant communities of the Red Dzao in Suoi Thau and Ma Tra villages. Following this, embark on a scenic 9-kilometer trek through local villages, passing by verdant rice paddies and cornfields.

Midday: Pause for a delightful picnic lunch amidst the picturesque surroundings along the trekking route.

Afternoon: Upon reaching Ta Phin village, delve into the unique lifestyles and customs of the Red Dzao minority, while marveling at the stunning landscapes. Conclude the day with a scenic drive back to Sapa, filled with memories of cultural immersion and natural beauty.

Evening: Return to Sapa town by our vehicle. Relax and freshen up after the trek.

Free time to explore Sapa town and souvenir shopping or relax at your accommodation.

Late Afternoon: Depart from Sapa in the late afternoon and dinner at a local restaurant before heading back to Hanoi by night train.

Next Morning: Arrive in Hanoi and transfer to your hotel or to the airport/bus station for your onward journey by your own expense. Tour ends!
