4 days hiking in Hoang Su Phi, Ha Giang, Vietnam

The route of hiking:

You actually start the trip in the day before at 21:00 by sleeper bus from Hanoi to Tan Quang, Ha Giang. Tan Quang bus station is located at T- Cross that to turn left to Hoang Su Phi and go straight to Hagiang city. From Tan Quang bus station to Nậm Lỳ Retreat by an other mini bus.

Day 1: Tân Quang- Nậm Lỳ Retreat

You will arrive at mini bus station in Nậm Dịch, have breakfast there and motorbike taxi will take you to Nậm Lỳ Retreat that 8 km far from there. You will have a great experience of traveling easy rider to see the mountain and the valley are higher and higher. You will check in Nậm Lỳ Retreat, a traditional wodden house in a Dao Ao Dai ( Long clothes) ethnic minority village and start your hiking to Lung Dam village to explore a Nung ethnic minority village. You will have 1 night at Nậm Lỳ Retreat in private room with a clean bathroom full hot water side by side.Your room overlooks the mountains and terraces fields. You can hear the waterfall falling down and dim lights of the stilt houses on the other side of the valley look like night stars.

Day 2: Nậm Lỳ Retreat- Hồ Thầu village ( 17km):

You will start a long day hiking with a local guide. Please note, he doesn't speak much English but can completely understand you via the English translation App. Besides, you will be always supported by a tour operator in time. You will pass through Shan Tuyet tea hills, terraces fields as far as the eyes can see, swim in a beautiful waterfall in the valley. You will have lunch outdoor, spend the night in a Dao Đỏ ( Red Dao) ethnic minority traditional wooden house.

Day 3: Hồ Thầu- Nậm Ai ( 17 km):

The local guide will take you through trails, terraces fields, waterfalls, and ethic minority villages. You will enjoy extremely fresh and quiet air. You will visit a Red Dao ethnic minority family in Nậm Ai village to explore the traditional customs, talk to family members, see Dao women weave traditional clothes, take photos with elderlies and especially have dinner and stay with their family as an experience of living with locals. If you choose 3 days 2 nights tour, you will stop hiking at Nậm Dịch and take a sleeper bus to Hagiang city or Hanoi

Day 4: Nậm Ai- Thông Nguyên- H� Nội:

4th hiking day is about 15km. You will pass through beautiful rice terraces, follow the steep trail to see a nice stream along Nam Ty village. Visit Lang Giang, a peaceful village has wide rice fields, ancient stilt houses and buffaloes leisurely grazing village. At the end of trip, you can take a bath in Onsen hot mineral water pool at Thông Nguyên town before jumping in a sleeper bus at 6 pm, arriving in Hagiang city at 7:30 pm or arriving in Hanoi at 4 am next day
