14 Day Grand Vietnam North to South (or vice versa)

Day 1: Check in Hotel in Hanoi and Free and easy (Meals: No)

Pick up from the airport to Hanoi. Arrive Hanoi and check in Hotel located in Hanoi Old Quarter. Get welcome drink when check in. Then you will have time for discovering by yourselves the attractions of Hanoi City.

Night 1: Overnight at Le foyer hotel or similar in Hanoi

Day 2: Hanoi - Halong cruise (B,L,D)

07:30 – 08:30 Our tour guide and bus pick you up at your hotel in Hanoi old quarter.

08:30 Departure to Halong Bay for 3.5 Hours.

10:00 Arrive in Hai Duong province, and have 20 minute short break.

12:00 Arrive Tuan Chau harbor, Halong Bay.

12:15 Welcome to ... Cruise and enjoy Welcome drink, Enjoy welcome drink get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check-in your cabin.

12:30 Have Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch, while cruising in the magnificent Halong Bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

14:30 arrival in Pearl Farm, kayaking through the village

15:30 Continued exploration the bay.

16:00 Visiting Titop Island

17.30 Back ... Halong cruise and relax.

18:00 Join cooking class guided directly by Chef of ...Halong Cruise. You have chance to practice Vietnamese traditional dishes such as spring roll or famous cuisine of Vietnam.

19:30 Time for dinner enjoying special BBQ seafood on the cruise.

21:00 :Evening entertainments: play game on the cruise: cards game, chess, karaoke,squid fishing, and overnight on Cruise.

Night 2: Overnight on Halong Lotus cruise or similar

Day 3: Halong Bay – Hanoi (B,L)

06: 06:30 Early morning sun risers can enjoy Tai Chi lesson on sundeck.

07:00 Morning view of bay’s landscape with a cup of tea or coffee. Have breakfast.

08:00 Arrive Sung Sot Cave (Amazing Cave) and joining with guide to visiting and explore the cave.

10:00 Check-out and enjoy a fantastic cruise on the bay.

11:00 Enjoy the lunch on cruise.

12:00 The Cruise are landing Halong Bay harbor, tourist say goodbye to sailors and finish the cruise.

12:30 Return to Hanoi by shuttle bus.

14:30 Stopover in Hai Duong province to visit a ceramics workshop.

16:00 – 16:30 Arrive in Hanoi end your trip.

Night 3: Overnight at Le foyer hotel or similar in Hanoi

Day 4: Hanoi – Free and easy (B)

You have breakfast at the hotel then have the whole day free in Hanoi to relax, go shopping and explore this city by yourself. Check out your reflection in beautiful Hoan Kiem Lake, wander along shaded. Museum-wise, why not visit the Mausoleum of Ho Chi Minh, drop into the serene Temple of Literature or get arty at the city's Fine Arts Museum.

You will have breakfast at the hotel, free and easy in the day time then we will transfer you to Hanoi railway station to catch night train to Hue city.

Day 6: Hue arrival – Free and easy (Meals: No)

9:45 - 10:50 Arrive in Hue. Pick up from train station to hotel in Hue. You will have free time to explore Hue city and Perfume River by yourself or catch a cyclo moving around Hue City.

Night 6: Overnight at Hue Serene Hotel or similar in Hue

Day 7: Hue free day (B)

You have a free day in Hue to relax and explore around Hue city- is best known for its royal mausoleums, imperial citadel, and iconic pagodas. Boasting a fantastic and rich cuisine, Hue is not only a favorite destination for people loving architecture but also a mecca for Vietnam gastronomes.

Night 7: Overnight at Hue Serene Hotel or similar in Hue

Day 8: Hue – private car to Hoi An (B)

You will have breakfast at the hotel then get transferred by private car to Hoi An. We will drop you off at Lang Co beach, Hai Van pass and Stone Carving village for taking photo if you request.

12:30: Arrive Hoi An. Drop of at hotel

Night 8: Overnight Kim An Hotel & Spa or similar hotel in Hoian

Day 9: Hoi An - My Son Sanctuary - boat trip on Thu Bon river (B,L)

7:45 – 8:15: Our guide pick you up at your hotel and depart to My Son Sanctuary - The World Cultural Heritage.

9:30: Arrive at My Son and we'll have 2 hours to discover the site by walking throughout the landscape, learning histories with our local English speaking guide, enjoying the Champ’s traditional performances.

11:45: Get back to mini van and move to a local house to learn how to make ricepaper, you will enjoyyour own hand-making product later on!

12:30: Back to the van and have lunch at another local house. relax with cold herbal tea, nice foods and fresh air.

13:30 take a boat trip to Hoi An with nice and cool breeze on boarding, beautiful river scenery on the biggest river in the Central of vietnam named as Thu Bon River.

14:00: arrive in Hoi An, we will drop you off at your hotel. Tour ends!

Night 9: Overnight Kim An Hotel & Spa or similar hotel in Hoian

Day 10: Hoi An – Free and easy day (B)

You will have breakfast at the hotel. Today you have a free day to relax, go shopping or take a free bicycle to look around Hoian ancient town and the surrounding countryside. Many people like to just wander around and soak up the ambience of the town, perhaps visiting a couple of the old traditional Chinese mansions. Others shop till they drop, spend time at the tailors or head out to the beach outside town, which has glorious white sand.

Day 11: Hoi An – Danang- Fly to Ho Chi Minh city (B)

After breakfast at your hotel, you are free till our driver come to transfer you to the airport. Today you will have a flight to Ho Chi Minh city and stay at the most touristic area of Ho Chi Minh City.

Night 11: Overnight at Prague Saigon Hotel or similar in Ho Chi Minh

Day 12: HCM – Mekong Delta deluxe group (B,L)

Route: HCMC – My Tho - Ben Tre – HCMC

Itinerary:

Leaving the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and start your trip to depart for My Tho, the town lies on the left side of the Mekong River. Upon arrival, visit Vinh Trang pagoda which sated back to the late 19^th century. Then boarding the sampan and cruising down the river around the four beautiful islands known as Dragon, Unicorn, Phoenix and Tortoise islands.

Stop over at Unicorn Island, go walking around country lane and seeing orchards, enjoy tropical fruits, folk song music which performed by the local people. Visit the fruit plantation.

Riding a hand-rowed sampan through Thoi Son canal and treat yourself in the beauty of the countryside, visit the family business, visit honey-bee farm, enjoy honey tea and coconut candy workshop.

Have lunch at local restaurant. Break time.

In the afternoon, time for cycling around the Tan Thach village, meet the local villagers to experience the local daily life in the Mekong delta. Hammock relaxing and enjoy cool breeze for those can’t join the cycling trip. Return to Ho Chi Minh City. End trip.

Night 12: Overnight at Prague Saigon Hotel or similar in Ho Chi Minh

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh-Cu Chi tunnel deluxe group (B)

Group size: 04 – 12 pax

Pick up: Morning option: 07:30 am – 08:00am (the time of pick up depends on customer’s hotel/ accommodation’s exact position).

Return: 14:30pm

Route: HCMC – Cu Chi district – HCMC

Highlights:

The tunnels are a great destination located 70 km from the Ho Chi Minh City Center to the Northwest. Cu Chi was known as the “area of steel” in the war time, and the tunnel systems were over 200km, which was considered the unbreakable underground village in the Vietnam-American war. It is legendary for its network of tunnels, and is a popular destination for both Vietnamese and foreign visitors.

Pick up at your hotel and depart to Cu Chi will take approximately one and a half hours bus driving. Upon arrival, before exploring the tunnels, you will have some short introduction followed by introductory video about how the tunnels were constructed and how the people survived in the harsh conditions of the war time. Then, spend your time to explore the remaining area and tunnel systems which included the special constructed living areas with kitchens, bedrooms side by side with other martial facilities like storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, and command centers helping whoever lives inside the tunnels meet their basic needs. Besides, there are also many hidden trap doors and dangerous traps within the maze-like tunnels for security purpose during the war. Afterward, special tea and cassava (guerilla’s food during the war) will be served.  

Break time for relax or time for those who want to try the real shooting gun.

Return to Saigon. End trip.

Night 13: Overnight at Prague Saigon Hotel or similar in Ho Chi Minh

Day 14: Ho Chi Minh – Back Home (B)

Have breakfast at the hotel then free and easy until our driver come and pick you to the airport.

Trip ends.
