Cat Ba National Park is located in Cat Ba island and recognized by UNESCO as aworld biosphere reserve with a rich and unique landscape. The area includes tropical humidforests, wetlands, mangroves, and coral reef ecosystem types . The easiest way to explore the amazing beauties of Cat Ba island is by trekking from Cat Ba town through the jungle, seewild animals and exploring the local life, by this route to Viet Hai Village and then take aboat back. This tour will be an adventure from Cat Ba town and also is an interestingexperience you should try.

8h00 - 8h20: Our bus and tour guide will pick you up from your hotel in Cat Ba town andstart the journey to Cat Ba national park.
9:00. Arrival National Park, Our tour guide will help you to take the entrance tickets andstart hiking from the entry of Cat Ba national park. On the way we will pass 3 peaks named : Ang Vat, May Bau, Ang Phay where we can take a short break in 5-10 minutes for takingpictures, and experiencing the diversity of the viewpoint. The route to Frog Pondwill takearound 2.5 hours. En route is the chance for enjoying bird watching, sightseeing in the primary forest.
11:30. You will arrive at Frog Pond – the largest freshwater lake on Cat Ba island. You willsee hundreds of Va Nuoc trees growing on the water, you will only see this kind of tree herein the whole Cat Ba national park. Frog Pond is also known with about 400 large and small islands and 130 small golden sand beaches. All creating a beautifully natural picture, andlocated on the route trans-forest from the national park center to Viet Hai village.
12:00. After a 30 minute break we will keep going to Viet Hai village (around 4 km more).The way from here to Viet Hai village will be easy going as there is no uphill any more, thepath is mostly downhill and flat.
13:00. Arrive at Viet Hai Village and meet the friendly local people who live inside theNational Park.Enjoy the Lunch with home cooked food at a local house in Viet Hai village, after lunch wewill cycle to explore this ancient village with nearly 100 houses, try fish massage experiencein the cool stream or local fish pond.
14:00. Start cycling 5km from Viet Hai Village to Viet Hai harbor, this is the most beautifulroad for cycling.
15:00. The boat will stop at a floating house, we will see the local life on the water of Lan Habay, get a kayak and explore Lan Ha Bay – One of the most beautiful bay in the world.
16:30. The boat will take you back to Cat Ba town, on the way back we will visit Cai Beo Floating village, the oldest floating village in Viet Nam with hundreds of houses on the water.
17:00. Arrive at Ben Beo harbor, get in the car to go back to your hotel in Cat Ba town..
