Wildlife Guided Tour at Fort De Soto Beach
Fort De Soto Park has over 1100 acres of preserved wildlife. Most of this, even the locals haven’t seen! Learn about the fascinating history and native wildlife while visiting all of Fort De Soto’s pristine beaches and incredible trails. Our electric bikes are beginner friendly and easy for everyone to ride on this trail. We ride along smooth bike trails and some quiet nature trails only for bikes! Fort De Soto features a historic military fort, 7 miles of white sugar sand beaches and incredible nature all around you.
By the end of the tour, our riders will become experts on the history of Fort De Soto & all the wildlife around them!

First your tour guide meets you at the Fort De Soto Boat Ramps. He will get you properly fitted to your electric bike, helmet and go over safety rules. Guests will test out their e-bikes to make sure they are comfortable before beginning the tour. After introducing the park and its history, the tour guide then takes guests for about 20 minutes through beautiful bike trails to the first beach. Guests get to soak in the beach side views while the guide tells stories and shares fun facts! Guests continue on to a beach side nature trail for 10 minutes to the next beach. We ride for about 10 minutes to each beach. At each beach we visit there are different features, new wildlife to explore and amazing views. For the next hour we explore the dog beach, the historic fort beach with ruins, the fishing docks, snack shacks, views of the historic lighthouse and the bird beach. Half way through, we spend about 20 minutes exploring the historic Fort with a restroom stop. The last 30 minutes we get to ride winding off road bike trails with waterfront views immersed in nature. We end back at the boat ramps where we began!
