Founded in 1718 and known as a necropolis, there has been no shortage of death in New Orleans and nowhere more so than the French Quarter. That leaves us with more than a few long-term spirits. They remain within the walls they lived in, and they frequent the streets.
To know our ghosts is to know our history. It’s a sorted tale of more than 3 centuries of drama and it makes us one of the most Haunted Cities in America.
