The location itself was named after Christian Brevoort Zabriskie, who was the vice president of the Pacific Borax Company.

Badwater Basin Point : BadWater is located 282 feet below sea level and is one of the few places in the world.

It is a place where the sea level used to be low, and after the seawater evaporates, it is made into white salt and you can see the salt sparkling in the sun 365 days a year.

Sunglasses are a must because of how dazzling the sparkle is.

Artists Palette Point : Beautiful view of the sedimentary hills of the Amagosa Mountains.

It is named because it is pink, gold, green, and purple, and has the shape of an artist's palette famous for its colorful colors and rock formations.

It was the location of Star Wars movies and it’s also a good place to take pictures.
