The location itself was named after Christian Brevoort Zabriskie, who was the vice president of the Pacific Borax Company.
Badwater Basin Point : BadWater is located 282 feet below sea level and is one of the few places in the world.
It is a place where the sea level used to be low, and after the seawater evaporates, it is made into white salt and you can see the salt sparkling in the sun 365 days a year.
