Description
Loch Lomond to the West Coast
From your preferred accommodation, your tour guide will collect you in our luxury Mercedes Benz minivan ( up to 7 passengers ) to travel along the banks of Loch Lomond stopping for tea/coffee at the charming village of Luss taking in views of Ben Lomond. Then passing by Loch Long and Loch Fyne we arrive at Inveraray Castle, home of the Duke of Argyll and Clan Campbell. Great choice of restaurants and cafes for lunch in Inveraray town or wait until we reach the coastal town of Oban . On the way we pass Loch Awe, Kilchurn Castle ruins and St Conan's Kirk.
Whisky fans will love to visit Oban distillery or wander around the promenade or up to McCaig's Folly with views over to the island of Mull. Depending on your accommodation we have different options for your return journey via Crianlarich. A great example of travel through the lowlands of Scotland, through lochs and glens to the highlands, west coast and return. Look out for lots of sheep, men in kilts and highland cows!
