Day 1:

Arrival

Upon your arrival at the airport, our guide will be awaiting you, holding a sign bearing your names. He will escort you to your hotel where you can relax and enjoy a meal or snack, depending on the time of your arrival. Your driver-guide will provide you with a briefing on the itinerary for the following day and will also inform you of the scheduled pick-up time.

Day 2:

Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park with Rhino Tracking

Begin the day with an early breakfast before embarking on a two-and-a-half-hour drive north on the Kampala-Gulu highway to reach the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Nakasongola. Embark on a guided hike across the sanctuary to track the endangered white rhinos. The sanctuary is also home to a variety of wildlife, including hippos, bushbucks, oribis, and an abundance of bird species.

After approximately two hours of tracking, continue your journey to Masindi for lunch. Following your meal, proceed to Murchison Falls National Park. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation to unwind. Enjoy your dinner and settle in for the evening.

Day 3:

Early Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise to the Falls' Base

Begin your day with an early breakfast before embarking on a game drive. Anticipate encounters with lions, elephants, buffaloes, giraffes, Jackson's hartebeests, reedbucks, Uganda kobs, oribis, warthogs, numerous savanna birds, and breathtaking landscapes. After approximately four hours, return to your accommodation for relaxation and lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile that leads to the Murchison Falls' base. Witness an abundance of wildlife on the Nile's banks, such as hippos, crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and various waterfowl. Upon reaching the falls' base, you have the option to disembark from the launch and hike up to the falls' summit. Your driver will await you at the top to escort you back to your lodge. The evening concludes with dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.

Day 4:

Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, check out from the lodge and depart for Kibale National Park. Continue along the picturesque Albertine Rift Valley. A stopover in Fort Portal town for lunch will be made before moving on to Kibale Forest National Park. Upon arrival, check into your accommodation located just outside the park boundaries. The remainder of the day can be spent relaxing and enjoying the lodge's natural surroundings.

Day 5

Chimpanzee Tracking - Bigodi Nature Walk

You will, after breakfast, head to Kibale Forest to view the primates. The activity begins at 8.00 am with a briefing about the rules for trekking the chimpanzees after which you'll set off to search for them in the forest. The exercise takes half a day and along the way, you will see other primates such as grey-cheeked mangabeys, phoestes, red-Colobus and the blue-tailed and red-tailed monkeys swinging in the braches of this thick forest. Your guide will give you informative briefings on the lifestyles of the primates you will be coming across and on the plants as well as on the insects and butterflies in this forest to ensure that the trek is not only enjoyable but also informative. Later, head out for a nature walk in Bigodi Swamp for a sighting of primates and birds.

Day 6:

Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park - Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, depart from the lodge and set out for Queen Elizabeth National Park. En route, enjoy a stopover in Fort Portal town for lunch. Continue to the park, taking in the stunning vistas of craters and lakes that dot the verdant landscape. Arrive at your lodge in the late afternoon and spend the remainder of the evening reveling in the park's natural beauty.

Day 7:

Early Morning Safari and Afternoon Boat Excursion on the Kazinga Channel

Begin your day with a refreshing cup of tea or coffee at 6:00 am before embarking on an early morning safari. Anticipate sightings of lions, buffaloes, elephants, hyenas, kobs, and topis amidst the breathtaking landscape featuring crater lakes and rolling grasslands. After approximately three hours, return to your lodge for breakfast. Post-lunch, venture out for a boat safari along the Kazinga Channel, which links Lakes Edward and George. This channel is a magnet for diverse wildlife such as hippos, buffaloes, elephants, monitor lizards, an array of waterfowl, and offers stunning vistas. Conclude your day with dinner and an overnight stay at your chosen accommodation.

Day 8

Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Wake up to an early breakfast, check out of the accommodation and travel to the southern area of the park called Ishasha. This area is popular for tree-climbing lions, and if you're lucky, you may see them. Other big game in this area include elephants, topis, and buffaloes among others. Lunch will be at Ishasha. Thereafter, travels southwards to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Check-in at your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 9

Gorilla Tracking - Community Walk

Wake up to an early breakfast at 6.30 am, pick up your packed lunch and transfer to the park offices for a briefing by the rangers. You'll be assigned a gorilla group you shall track. At 8:00 am transfer to the start of the trek and head into the forest to find the mountain gorillas. You are allowed no more than an hour with them, then return to meet your driver. Return to the lodge for a snack, freshen up and then visit the local Batwa community to see the indigenous ways of live. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 10

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi - Canoe Ride

Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for a relaxation experience and get to your accommodation in time for lunch. After lunch, relax for a bit then go for a canoe ride on one of the deepest lakes in the world. You can choose to ride the canoe yourself or use a guide to ride you. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 11

Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park - Evening Game Drive

Have breakfast and check out and transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. Get to Lake Mburo in time for lunch, check into your accommodation and then have lunch. After lunch, relax and then later go for an evening game drive in the park and get to see a really beautiful sunset in the plains. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 12

Morning Nature walk - afternoon Boat Ride

Wake up for an early morning nature walk into the park for a chance to catch some nocturnal wildlife at a close encounter. You are led by an armed ranger for the walk. After the walk, return to the lodge, relax, refresh, and have lunch. Later on, after lunch, set out for a relaxing evening boat ride on Lake Mburo which gives you a chance to view some wildlife including hippos and several birds. Return to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.

Day 13

Travel Back to Entebbe

Wake up and have breakfast, check out of the lodge and travel back to Entebbe. We'll drop you off at your desired destination. Lunch is en route. You will also get to make a stopover at the Equator point for some picture moments.
