Brief Itinerary August 2024
Day1: 4 th Pickup from Malaba and transfer to Sipi Falls
Day2: 5 th Visit the Sipi Falls, coffee tour, and sebei cultural experience
Day3: 6 th Transfer to Karuma (Murchison Falls National Park)
Day4: 7 th Game drive, boat cruise, and visit the top of the falls
Day5: 8 th Rhino tracking and Nyabyeya cultural dances
Day6: 9 th Transfer to Kibale, Bigodi swamp walk, and Cultural visit
Day7: 10 th Chimp tracking and transfer to Entebbe
Day8: 11 th Visit Lake Victoria and transfer to the airport for departure

Detailed Itinerary:
Day 1: Pick up and transfer to Sipi Falls
This morning, your driver will be ready to pick you up from Malaba. He will give you the welcome
remarks and brief you about the trip. You will transfer to Sipi Falls located in Kapchorwa, in the
Eastern part of Uganda. Have two stopovers at the Torok waterfalls and at Koromosho Falls. On
arrival at the lodge, you will check in for the rest of the evening, dinner, and overnight.

Day 2: Sipi Falls
Start the day with breakfast before you go out to visit the mighty sipi falls. The hike to the falls
involves steep accents, climbing ladders and passing through local farms. You will also visit the
coffee plantations in this area, maybe also participate in the coffee making. In the afternoon you
will enjoy cultural experience of the Sebei people in this part of Uganda. This is one of the most
interesting culture in Uganda. Be immersed in their culture on this safari. Retuen to the lodge for
the night.

Day 3: Transfer to Karuma - Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up and have your breakfast at the lodge, check out of your accommodation as you get ready
to transfer to Karuma - Murchison Falls National Park which is located in the Northern part of
Uganda. Murchison falls is one of Uganda’s first national park and it is the largest in the country.
This is an exceptional place to see wildlife and a trip along the Nile should not be missed, not least
in order to see the powerful Murchison Falls up close, a simply unforgettable experience. You will
stop for lunch and then continue to the park. Arrive at the park and checkin your accommodation
for relaxation.

Day 4: Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, set off on a game drive in the park. Murchison falls is a home to different wildlife
species; over 76 mammal and 451 bird species including the Buffaloes, Jackson hartebeests,
Antelopes, Lions, Kobs, Giraffes, Hyenas, Bushbucks, and Warthogs among others. After lunch,
take a boat ride to the bottom of Murchison falls. During the boat ride, view large pods of Hippos,
many crocodiles and Nile monitors basking in the sun. A variety of water birds like herons, ducks,
cormorants, bee-eaters, skimmers, kingfishers, fish eagle and the rare shoebill can also be viewed
on this cruise. Have a visit to the top of the falls and enjoy the heavy flow of the water at these
falls. After this amazing unforgettable experience, return to the Lodge for relaxation, dinner and
overnight.

Day 5: Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, head transfer to Ziwa Rhino sanctuary for rhino tracking. This is the only place in
Uganda where you will find rhinos. After tracking rhinos you will have lunch and then go out for a
cultural entertainment at Nyabyeya.You will witness the traditional dances, listen to captivating
folklore and savor delicious local cuisine, all of which add a layer of authenticity to your trip.
Retire at the lodge for the night.

Day 6: Kibale Forest National Park
Start the day off with breakfast before you transfer to Kibale forest National Park. you will have a
brief stopover for lunch and then continue to the park. In the afternoon you will go for an
Ornithological hike on the Bigodi Swamp. This area is recognized for an extensive array of
biodiversity among which are several primates species like the red colobus monkey, baboon, black
& white colobus monkey, blue monkey grey cheeked, mangabey, vervet monkey, red tailed monkey
and the L’Hoest monkey. After the hike, you will do a cultural visit if time allows. Return to the
lodge for dinner and overnight.

Day 7: Kibale Forest National Park
Early breakfast and off for a fascinating chimp trekking experience through the famous Kibale
Forest. Prepare to spend a number of hours tracking these entertaining creatures. Kibale is
considered to be the best place for chimp tracking. These chimps will amaze you by how they live
their lives, groom youngones, play, feed and many others. Have lunch, check out of the lodge and
return to Entebbe.

Day 8: Entebbe
Wakeup at leisure and have breakfast. Later on you will go out and visit Lake Victoria for a
beautiful beach experience. In the late afternoon, your driver will be ready to transfer you to the
airport for your departure flight.
