This five-day magnificent adventure trip brings you to the world's actual primate capital, a country with one of the world's greatest concentrations of unique primate species.
Your cousins in the wild will captivate you with their appearance, sound and joyful temperament. Mountain gorilla trekking, chimp trekking, golden monkey trekking and other activities take place over the course of five days.
With only 5 days, prepare to explore the primate city of Uganda and make lasting memories.

Day 1: Pick Up From Entebbe & Transfer To Kibale Forest National Park
After breakfast, meet and welcome our company driver guide at the agreed-upon collection spot, either at the airport or in Kampala city, and then continue on the trek to your Chimpanzee cousins. The travel to Kibale Forest National Park will take approximately 7-8 hours, with views of bustling towns, a diverse range of plantations, homesteads and a stunning scenery.
Lunch will be served the route, and you will arrive late at Fort Portal City, where you will spend the night at the lodge after dinner and a relaxing nap.

Day 2: Chimpanzee Trekking & Bigodi Swamp Walk
After breakfast, travel to Kibale Forest National Park for a rewarding chimp trekking adventure. The activity begins with a pre-trekking briefing at daybreak, during which ranger guides will explain the trekking dos and don'ts and accompany you on your search. The hike takes around 1-5 hours, plus an additional hour to learn about chimps in their natural habitat. Chimpanzees have 98 percent same genes to humans. They are gregarious and clever, as they collect ants from the ground with grass, use twigs as a fork, and so on.
They're happy creatures with almost 25 different sounds. Many more primates, including vervet monkeys, baboons, white and black Colobus monkeys, and others, can be seen in the forest, as well as plants, forest creatures, and a diversity of plant species. After the hiking exercise, you'll go to the lodge for lunch before spending the evening at Bigodi Swamp, wandering while observing baboons, birds, and locals go about their daily business. Dinner and a relaxing snooze are the perfect way to end the day.

Day 3: Transfer To Mgahinga National Park
You will have breakfast at daybreak, then bid farewell and depart towards the southern portion of the country, passing through lush plantations, rolling hills, and more. Stop for lunch en trip, and wherever the driver guides feel worthwhile. Arrive in the evening at Mgahinga Gorilla National Park, Uganda's smallest national park to a warm welcome at the park headquarters and your lodging facilities. Check in for a relaxing evening, dinner, and a restful nap.

Day 4: Gorilla Trekking & Batwa Pygyms Encounter
Following a delicious breakfast at the lodge, you will select your trekking equipment and go to the park headquarters for a pre-trekking briefing by trained ranger guides, who will discuss the trekking dos and don'ts, as well as the particular characteristicsof gorillas. It takes around thirty minutes, and then you're off to the home of gorillas, where they spend their mornings and afternoons feeding and their evenings resting. As you encounter birds, other primates such as monkeys and baboons, and identify plants, the search moves in the direction of where the Apes were last seen.
It takes between 1-6 hours to track the Apes, plus an extra hour for photos and intensively analyzing the Gorillas' unique mannerisms, depending on how far they've travelled. For example, how gorillas maintain hygiene, interact, feed, and so on. You will return to the lodge for lunch after your gorilla encounter, followed by an afternoon of cultural performance with the Batwa tribe. You'll return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing nap at sunset.

Day 5: Transfer Back To Entebbe
Following a delectable sunrise breakfast, check out for a transfer to Kampala city or Entebbe international airport in preparation for your trip to your next destination. There will be a lunch stop along the way near the equator, where you will be able to observe demonstrations at the marginal line that divides the world into two hemispheres for around thirty minutes. You'll be impressed by the bustling cities, lush foliage, and more.
