Fathala Safari This trip is a chance to see the big 5 Giraffe, Rhino, Zebra, Antelope, and Buffalo at the wildlife park at Fathala in Senegal. We will travel across the River Gambia and take a jeep to the wildlife park. We will need to cross the Border of Gambia into Senegal.

7 am pick up from you hotel/guesthouse.
We will travel to Banjul to get the ferry across the river Gambia. The ferry is an experience in itself crossing with the locals going about their daily business. there will be opportunities to buy many different items, food and drink on the ferry.
We will disembark from the ferry and get into a 4x4 open top jeep which will take us to the border of Gambia.
You will need your passport. You will check out of Gambia and check into Senegal.
We will then travel approx. 45 mins to the Wildlife park.
Here we will pick up a guide who will share his knowledge of the animals and where they are on that day.
it is possible to get out of the vehicle to get close to the animals and take some great photos.
When the safari is over we will go back to the entrance where there is a shop and facilities.
When we are ready we can take the jeep back to the border crossing and then back to the ferry.
On the trip you will see rural Gambia and different villages where the local people live.
From Banjul you will be taken back to your Hotel/guesthouse.

7am pick up travel to Banjul ferry port.
7.45am wait for the next ferry to cross to Barra on the North bank,
9am board 4x4 to the border.
9.15 cross the border
10am enter the wildlife park
10.15 start the safari
12 am back to the entrance shop and facilities.
12.30 pm make our way back to the border
1.15 pm border crossing.
1.30 cross the border.
2.pm wait for the next ferry to Banjul.
3pm go back to hotel/guesthouse.
ALL TIMES ARE APPROXIMATE DEPENDING ON THE FERRY. Also depending on weather and availability to see the animals at the wildlife park.
