WHAT YOU WILL LEARN?

Phuket is one of the best places to learn to surf in Thailand. Our experienced instructors who speak English & Thai will firstly on the sand teach you all the steps in how to paddle & how to catch waves on your own. Get to know about the different types of surfboards, equipment and how to read the wave conditions. Our surf lessons in Phuket are held on Bangtao beach & Surin beach perfect for that first-time surfing experience in Phuket. Anyone from 7+ years can learn to surf with us at Talay Surf Phuket.

The best part is you don’t have to do it alone, join in on our group surf classses and mingle with other likeminded people.

AVAILABILITY: Surfing is only available during Phuket’s surf season which is from May to November.

Please note, all our group lessons will have a mix of people at different levels but knowing what level people are will help us orgainse our instructors so we can make sure we give you the right instruction & best experience.

If you are a more experienced surfer & don’t want to be in a group with new surfers then we will try and place you in a different group if we have the numbers of people otherwise, we suggest more experienced surfers book a ‘private surf lesson’ so you can get the special instruction you want.
