Regarding the Wat Mangkon Kamalawat (Lengnoeiyi), this is the largest and most important Chinese Buddhist temple in Bangkok, Thailand. It hosts celebrations of a number of year-round events, such as, Chinese New Year, Chinese vegetarian festival, etc. Wat Mangkon Kamalawat was founded as a Mahayana Buddhist temple in 1871. It was built in a classic Chinese architectural style with typical sweeping tiled roofs decorated with animal and floral motifs. Furthermore, we will visit the Talad Noi which is an ethnic Chinese community on the edge of Bangkok’s Chinatown and on the bank of the Chao Phraya River. It is well known for a strong community feel, old buildings, and alleyways bursting with street art and second-hand car parts.
