4 days safari in Tanzania– tarangire, Serengeti and Ngorongoro

DAY 1

ARUSHA –TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK (4 days Tanzania tours)

It’s your first day of the tour, the day when you get to visit tarangire national park, the park might be small but it is both fiercely proud and boasts of stunning scenery with incredible animal presence, all these will have you coming back for more. the drive to this Fabolous Park will take about 4 hours and after arrival all the formalities will be handled at the gate and you will proceed with game driving in the park. You will start spotting the ancient baobab trees all over with large herds of elephants making their way around the park, as you keep exploring there is a chance that you might also spot leopards, lions, giraffes, wildebeest, hyena and many other wild animals, on top of that you will enjoy the magnificent scenery of the park decorated with colorful birds, there is a record of at least 400 hundred species of bird’s resident so be ready to spot many of them while here. After a long day full of magical moments, head to manyara/karatu for a night’s rest

DAY 2

MANYARA/KARATU –SERENGETI (CENTRAL SERENGETI) (4 days Tanzania tours)

Leave manyara behind and drive for at least 4 hours to Serengeti national park. as you join the Ngorongoro conservation area route, the road runs along the highland, offering some beautiful views over the land. as you leave the scenic highlands behind you will get to the vast plains of Serengeti, you will have lunch at the naabi gate and thereafter proceed with afternoon game driving as you head to the central part of the park where you will spend the night.

In Serengeti keep your eyes open to spot all the classic Africa animals from the big cats, elephants, hippos, giraffe, impalas, gazelles, buffalo and many others.

Optional tour activities before reaching Serengeti

• Olduvai Gorge museum -one of the most important archaeological sites in the world, the exhibits from here are centered on the paleoanthropological research and artifacts that were found in the surrounding area. Founded by Mary Leakey the museum also has several charts and photographs describing and illustrating the process of the laetoli footprints.

• Maasai boma visit-visit the popular Maasai people and learn about their traditional Maasai dance, their daily way of life and even purchase some of their traditional items in the local market.

Lunch will be offered in one of the picnic sites in Serengeti, most likely naabi hill gate and after that you will have late game drive before retiring to your camp/lodge where you will have dinner and spend overnight.

DAY 3

SERENGETI (CENTRAL) – NGORONGORO (4 days Tanzania tours)

This will be the last day in Serengeti national park so you will have to take its full beauty to the fullest, enjoy the incredible sightings of animals in your morning game drive after getting breakfast in the lodge /camp. Get the glimpse of all your Serengeti animals before heading out of the park after getting lunch. After getting out of the park you will head to the Ngorongoro crater rim where you will spend the night and enjoy the incredible crater view if the weather allows.

DAY 4

NGORONGORO CRATER – ARUSHA/MOSHI (4 days Tanzania tours)

When it comes to game viewing Ngorongoro crater does not disappoint: it’s a home to more than 25,000 wild animals residing in what may be considered a mother nature’s garden. within the crater you might also get lucky and spot the black rhino on a one-day game driving. Look out for lions, leopards, hyenas, buffalo, and many others, also keep your eyes open for the flamingos, and other birds that reside in the crater. After spending the whole day here, you will ascend the crater in the late afternoon and head to Arusha/Moshi
