Day 1: Arusha/Moshi to Arusha National Park & Return

• Activities:
• After breakfast, depart from your hotel in Arusha or Moshi and drive to Arusha National Park. Enjoy a scenic game drive, exploring diverse landscapes, including the Momella Lakes and Ngurdoto Crater. Experience the unique thrill of passing under the famous Fig Tree Arch, a massive tree large enough for a safari jeep to drive through—a perfect photo opportunity.
• Around midday, enjoy a picnic lunch at a designated spot while taking in the park’s natural beauty.
• By late afternoon (around 4 PM), exit the park and drive back to Arusha for overnight rest at your hotel.

Day 2: Arusha to Lake Manyara National Park

• Accommodation: N/A (return to Arusha/Moshi after safari)
• Activities:
• Depart early in the morning after breakfast for a drive to Lake Manyara National Park, approximately 2 hours away. Pass through the vibrant town of Mto wa Mbu, known for its cultural market.
• Enter Lake Manyara National Park, renowned for its incredible wildlife, breathtaking landscapes, and rich birdlife. Keep an eye out for the famous tree-climbing lions, often spotted resting on acacia branches. The park is also home to elephants, buffalo, and the Big Five, making it an excellent safari destination.
• Enjoy a bird-watching safari near the lake, where you can spot large flocks of flamingos, circling birds of prey, and the colorful lilac-breasted roller.
• After a full day of exploration, return to Arusha or Moshi, concluding your 2-day Tanzania safari.
