4-Day Serengeti Migration - Tanzania Safari
The Serengeti migration safari will take you to the Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti National Park where you will see the migration. Serengeti National Park is the most famous national park in the world, known for its vast open plains and savannas which accommodate every type of African wildlife. On this classic 4-day Serengeti tour, you can expect to see the wildebeest migration of about 2 million strong gnu, migrating north to the Kenya border in search of water and green grass.

Day 1: Arusha to Serengeti National Park
Early morning after breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel in Arusha and drive to Serengeti National Park via Ngorongoro. We have some stops on the way at interesting points to take pictures and experience Tanzania at its best. The drive from Arusha to Serengeti takes about 6 hours. You will take lunch boxes with you to allow for enough time for afternoon animal sightings in the Serengeti.

Day 2: Serengeti National Park
On day 2 of your 4-day classic Serengeti tour, you will leave the lodge before sunrise and start your game drive with a picnic breakfast and lunch. You will spend the full day (from 6 am to 6 pm) observing animals at different times and locations in the Serengeti. You can expect to see huge herds of migrating animals, prides of lion, cheetah, leopard, elephant, giraffe, buffalo, and many species of birds and trees.

Day 3: Ngorongoro Conservation Area
Today will start with an early breakfast at your lodge or camp. You then pack your things before you leave the lodge for a morning game drive. In the afternoon, you will stop for your picnic lunch and then continue with an en-route afternoon game drive on your way to the Ngorongoro Crater rim near Karatu town for overnight.

Day 4: Ngorongoro Crater afternoon drive back to Arusha
Your day will start with an early breakfast at your camp, then pack your things before you leave the camp for the tour inside the crater. In the world's largest unbroken caldera where thousands of animals live, you will see all of the Big Five animals if you're lucky. In the afternoon, you will have a picnic lunch at the hippo pool and then continue with afternoon animal sightings as you exit the crater on the way back to Arusha.
