Description
Canyoning Bled | Grmečica canyon
A short drive out of Bled, on the forested slopes of Jelovica plateau, water has created a deep and dark Grmečica canyon with steep limestone walls, numerous pools and waterfalls.
During the activity you will enjoy in swimming and exploring this wild gorge. More daring ones will be able to overcome most obstacles by jumping, however some places require the use of ropes to get down safely.
When the water conditions are right, you will be able to finish the activity with a final jump from the height of about 9 meters. Not an easy task!

Itinerary

9:30 - 9:45 | Meet your guide at the agreed location. He will provide all necessary canyoning gear and explain how to gear up for the activity.
9:45 - 10:00 | Hike to the starting point of the activity. After about 10 minute walk alongside river Sava you will reach the canyon, then a short uphill hike is necessary to reach the starting point.
10:15-10:30 | Safety briefing before the activity. The guide will explain all that you need to know before you begin your descent.
10:30 - 12:15 | Descent through the canyon.
12:15 - 12:30 | Finish the activity. Walk back to the parking lot and change back into dry clothes.
