Snowshoeing in amazing Julian Alps

We will start our hike at the Pokljuka plateau at the altitude of 1.350 metres above the sea level. The walk to Zajamniki village will then take us around 1,5 to 2 hours. On the way back we can make a lunch break at the mountain hut in Uskovnica or return back to the starting point. Either way we go back partly different way. In case you don't want to stop at the mountain hut we can also have a coffee or lunch stop at the hotel close to our starting point.

The hike is mostly flat with some short uphill parts, so it's also appropriate for kids and people that don't usually do the hikes with a lot of altitude difference. This experience is truly about snowshoeing experience in one of the most picturesque places in Slovenia.
