It will take you from Porto Sao Bento station to Palacio da Bolsa, through Torre dos Clérigos and many other interesting sites. We offer challenges at every step. Each challenge will tell you where you are going next and a bit of local history and advice.

Start your tour in front of the Sao Bento Train Station. Make your way up to Praça da Liberdade and see City Hall and several monuments. See a famous pastry shop on your way to the Church of the Clergy and its tower. See several monuments and a historic bookstore as you continue walking uphill toward the University of Porto and the Church of Carmo. Walk through a small park to see more monuments and learn more history. From here you are walking downhill.
See the courthouse, the small Church of St-José das Taipas, and Casa de Almeida Garrett as you walk down to the Old English Club of Porto. See a public potable water fountain on your way to the Church of St-Joao Novo. Continue down to the Palacio da Bolsa (former stock exchange) and Praça do Infante D Henrique. See the Church of St-Francisco and the Infante House Museum on your way down to the Ribera to see the River Douro and Ponte Luis I.
From here walk up several staircases to the Church of St-Lourenço and the Cathedral of Porto. Up here, you'll see several monuments and museums. As you now return to your starting point, you'll walk past the Palacio dos Condes de Azevedo, Teatro Nacional Sao Joao, and finally Praca da Batalha which is next to your start location.
