Begin at the Cathedral (Sé) of Lisbon to learn about it and the Church of St-Anthony of Padua facing it. Learn about the 1755 earthquake and its effect on the surrounding buildings. You're likely to see Tram 28 which passes through the narrowest streets.
Continue to the Museum of the Aljub Resistance and Liberty (Carnation Revolution), then on to the Old Roman Theatre archeological ruins. Make your way to the Arco do Castelo to begin seeing the St-George (Sao Jorge) Castle. On to Amalia Place where you'll discover who was Amalia Rodrigues and Fado. Then you'll see the Church of St-Vincent of Fora and the Arco Grande de Cima. From here you'll see the Church of Santa Engracia and learn it is today the National Pantheon. Walk to it and learn about who is buried here.
Walk down to the Lisbon Army Museum and Santa Apolonia Station. As you see the Cruise Terminal, learn about the Tagus River. Walk back towards the city center and see the Fado Museum and the Lisbon Museum. End at the Conserveira de Lisboa, 2 streets from your start location.
