Surf Lessons in Cascais
SURFIN S. Pedro Surf School has over 25 years of experience teaching surfers from beginners to advanced.
Surfing is about adapting to what the ocean provides, and we follow that example, adapting our lessons to the conditions of the sea, as well as the needs of the participants.
Whether you are a newcomer searching for a safe and fun experience, a beginner who wants to learn the ropes, an intermediate trying to progress, or an advanced surfer looking to perfect his technique, we will tailor the lesson to the conditions and your goals.
Our lessons take place in different beaches along the Cascais coastline depending on the conditions, mainly:
São Pedro do Estoril, our home break, a long and slow right, perfect for beginners and intermediates,
Carcavelos, the most famous beach break in Portugal offering a variety of waves for all levels
Guincho, a stunning place, and one of the most consistent breaks in the world, very exposed to the Atlantic ocean, with waves virtually every day of the year
All the necessary equipment is included in the lessons as well as insurance

The Surf Lesson begins with putting on the wetsuit, and preparing the board, then we go to the beach where we do a warm-up followed by a little introduction that varies depending on the level of the surfer, as an example, beginners would learn how to stand on the board and try a few times in the sand, then we go in the water where we stay between 1h and 1h:15min, and the we finalize the lesson and get dressed
