Early Start: We’ll pick you up from your hotel at 4:30 AM. Make sure you're ready to go 20 minutes before we leave, as we’ll head out promptly in our comfy van to the Ollantaytambo train station. The drive takes about an hour and a half, and it’s a great opportunity to see the countryside wake up as the sun rises.
Train Ride to Machu Picchu: Between 6:40 AM and 7:20 AM, we'll catch the train from Ollantaytambo to Machu Picchu town, also known as Aguas Calientes. During the train ride, you’ll see the stunning landscapes surrounding the entrance to Machu Picchu. Make sure we gather 30 minutes before our train departs to ensure smooth boarding.
Exploring Aguas Calientes: Once we arrive in Aguas Calientes, we'll meet our local guide, who will give us directions for the next part of our adventure. Then, we board a bus to Machu Picchu Citadel. This short, 30-minute bus ride offers scenic views and builds anticipation for the main event.
Machu Picchu Tour: Arriving at Machu Picchu, we’ll spend about two hours walking through this breathtaking site. Our guide will lead us through ancient stairways and past delicate carvings, all while sharing stories and insights about this Inca treasure. There will be plenty of time for you to take photos and soak in the views on your own after the guided tour.
