Elbert on our bucket list, so when planning our holiday in Tenerife, we booked a hike to the Mt. Teide summit well in advance. Although there was a risk the trail might be closed, we lucked out with the weather, and our guide picked us up from our hotel in Los Cristianos bright and early at 6:30 am, just as specified in the Tripspoint voucher. On the way to Teide, Andres shared interesting facts about the mountain and its significance in shaping the island. We began the hike around 8 am, and it wasn't too challenging until we reached the halfway point to the summit. As we ascended, we started to feel the effects of the altitude, changes in pressure, and the air becoming dryer and thinner. Despite our slower pace, Andres was attentive and suggested taking 5-10 minute breaks periodically. Finally, we reached the peak around half past 12, and the views, along with the sense of accomplishment, were absolutely breathtaking. We found Gregory using a Google search to look for a local tour guide. We booked a full day Mt. Teide tour for two adults and three children, aged 7, 5 and 2. We opted for the larger 7 seater vehicle for extra comfort and space. We booked via the Tripspoint website which did cause us to be a little hesitant to start with because the site seemed huge, with lots of tours and we couldn’t be sure who our tour guide would be. Most of the Mt. Teide tours seem to mention Gregory so we booked anyways and hoped that it was Gregory who would show us around. Within an hour, Gregory called me to confirm details and bookings. I immediately informed him that we are a safety conscious family and would like children car sets to be available. He was completely understanding and assured us that it would not be a problem. On the day of the trip, Gregory arrived right on time with the three appropriate children car seats as promised. The day was brilliant with as many stops as we wanted to cater for the kids who do not travel well. Gregory was very patient when our two year was just crying constantly throughout the journey. We were picked up at 1100 and returned at around 1800. Gregory drove a little slower so that it was more comfortable for the children. He was really knowledgeable and we learnt a lot about Tennerife and Mt. Teide. We will be sure to book another trip with Gregory when we return. He has also given us some hotel recommendations for the next time. I thoroughly recommend him. As an aside, I think it would be good for Gregory if he had his own website and when it comes to payment, it could take us to the Tripspoint / booking page. We were very close to not booking because we were after Gregory specifically and it wasn’t obvious we would have gotten him via Tripspoint.  Hide review

Once we arrived at the meeting point, we were greeted by Max, our guide. He is extremely experienced in off-road adventures. Firstly, he asked us about our experience, and then we received our dirt bikes (KTM and Husqvarna) and protective gear for a driving test. That went well, and then we embarked on our trip. The experience surpassed all of our expectations - truly off-road, away from touristy areas, with rugged nature and challenging sections featuring sand, lava, and loose terrain, both along the coast and in the mountains. By the end, we were extremely tired, but it was the satisfying kind of tiredness, having completed a very challenging tour! We give Max and the tour overall 5 out of 5 stars!!!  Hide review

The coach reached Loro Park at 11:10am. So it’s not express 1 hr 20 mins as claimed - as it took 2 hrs 20 mins. Bus was pretty old and dated inside with air conditioning struggling and was heaving to climb upslopes of Tenerife. The return was fully packed and families struggling to find a seat. Hence I wouldn’t recommend them as express transfer to Loro Park from South Tenerife.  Hide review

That was a nice educational experience for our 7 and 9 years old kids, not just riding camels, but also feeding them and learning about their habits. Lovely recommended place to visit.  Hide review

We sailed between Tenerife and La Gomera Island, spotting a lot of pilot whales, dolphins, turtles, and the extremely rare "sifios" whales (of which there are only about 100 left). We stopped for swimming and snorkeling by the giant tallest cliffs in the Atlantic, visited secluded beaches, and enjoyed drinks and lunch (we ordered special catering that was delivered to the yacht just before we left the marina). With plenty of attention, stories and music from Jose, we definitely had one of our best days in Tenerife. Thank you, Jose for a wonderful day!  Hide review

You get a lot of bang for your buck with this tour.
