We had only 6 people on the yacht and it was really nice, especially comparing to the catamarans packed with 100+ people and noisy music. Loro is more than just a zoo and we were surprised how much they are involved in animal conservation projects. All habitats are amazing, especially the penguin habitat with continuous snow. When I... Show full review ➤ Booked the tour 3 months in advance and the day was today. I've been picked up from my hotel in Costa Adeje at 6:30 Am. When I went out Andres was already there waiting for me. On the way up Andres explained me a lot about Tenerife and the volcano. Finally we arrived to the star point to the "camino de Montana Blanca" at approximately 8:00 AM. There were a few people starting with us. Well, we left them behind since Andres is mountain guide and I'm amazed with his hiking abilities. I've climbed Mount Kilimanjaro 3 months ago and Mt. Elbert in Colorado half a year ago, but was barely able to follow up with him. Andres was very kind and always trying to keep up with me instead of of pushing me up. We've finally made to the summit in 6 hours. Maybe not a record, but I've got there and so happy tired!!! That's the tour to do, if you'd like to have a really unique experience in Tenerife! He told he prefer to have bookings with TripsPoint because they are "no joke" whatever it mean, so I made a right decision. Thank you Andres! With the best memories, Robert!  Hide review

The description given is wholly misleading and nothing like described on the website. My experience was rushed and dissatisfying. You do NOT NEED a guide to climb Teide. Just get the permit several months in advance. The trails are very well marked and you can then go at your own pace without having to march to someone else's agenda. I had booked this trip as it was supposed to be an "exclusive and unique Mount Teide tour .... privately for you!" However there was another person booked on this trip and he was on a tight schedule as he needed to get a bus back to South Tenerife. So the entire trip was rushed with little time to stop and really take in the incredible scenery. Towards the end the guide went ahead to check on the other person but without telling me he proceeded to take the other guy up to the summit leaving me stranded and not even knowing where he was. In the end I phoned him on WhatsApp and I demanded he come down and take me to the summit. He did this, but after all the effort and the cost of this" absolutely private Mount Teide hike exclusively for you" I got to spend two minutes at the summit and we had to rush down to get the last cable car. Appalling for the cost involved. In addition the tour description states the we visit Pico Viejo. There was no reason why we could not do this as the weather was perfect. However since the other guy had to catch a bus this was not even an option.due to the time constraints. >  Hide review
