Oslo Highlights and Hidden Gems includes a legendary Vigeland Sculpture Park. The sculpture park is Gustav Vigeland's life work, comprising over 200 sculptures in granite, bronze and wrought iron. It was installed mainly in the period 1940-1949, but is nevertheless a result of over 40 year

Our family-friendly tour brings the history of Norway to life with exciting stories and Nordic mythology. We’ll visit all of the famous landmarks in the city center, i.e. Aker Brygge, the Royal Palace, the Parliament, the University, the main streets, etc. You will also visit a medieval Fortress Akershus / Vigeland Sculpture Park. But, we’ll also share hidden, local spots, things you’d miss if you didn’t know what to look for. We want you to feel the unique, friendly atmosphere of our quirky little city, not just to see the most popular tourist attractions. We’ll be showing you our favorite places to eat, drink and visit.
Sculpture park in the Frogner Park with more than 200 sculptures by Gustav Vigeland (1869–1943) in bronze, granite and cast iron, including The Angry Boy (Sinnataggen in Norwegian), The Monolith (Monolitten) and The Wheel of Life (Livshjulet).
Vigeland was also responsible for the design and architectural outline of the park, which is one of Norway's top tourist attractions, with more than one million annual visitors.
