Famous Tulip-route tour from Amsterdam
From Amsterdam, we drive to the Noordoostpolder: one of the Dutch landareas that is reclaimed from the sea. Here, in springtime, the fields turn into an endless spectacle of colors when blooming tulips paint the landscape. We follow an 80km trail through 2000 acres of these colorful fields. According to National Geographic (2009) it is one of the most beautiful routes in the world. Of course we agree with that!
Along the way there will be stops to make photographs and at the end of the trip we even visit a tulipfield where you can pick your own tulips!
Back in Amsterdam, you will look back on a beautiful day during which you experienced one of the main reasons why The Netherlands is famous!
