Bardia Tower Night Stay Package
Prepare for an extraordinary and memorable adventure as you immerse yourself in a night spent within a wooden tower nestled in the heart of the jungle, close to water sources. Here, you can unwind and immerse yourself in the captivating sights and sounds of the forest, with the possibility of catching glimpses of passing wildlife.
For a truly immersive experience in nature, spend a night in a 'machhan' within the community forest, situated in the buffer zone beside Bardia National Park. A machhan, akin to a watchtower, is elevated high above the forest floor, either on stilts or constructed like a treehouse. From its balconies, safely observe and listen to animals such as rhinos, elephants, and tigers. Begin by carrying your essentials, including packed food and bedding with a mosquito net, through the forest to the machhan. Once there, set up camp amidst the treetops and unwind, surrounded by the tranquility of nature. Your knowledgeable guide from the local community will share insights about the diverse wildlife inhabiting the forest, assisting you in identifying them through both sight and sound.
