It can also be an ideal option for beginners who want to explore the Everest region with a short period of time. The 7 days Pikey Peak Trekking Itinerary involves 5 days of walking with an average trekking duration of 6 hours per day and 2 days of driving.

Itinerary
Early morning after breakfast, we will take a sharing jeep to Dhap Bazaar. To reach today's destination, it will take 7-8 hours, the road follows the Sunkoshi River and Tama Koshi River. We will stop at Ghurmi, a small village where we will have a typical Nepali food for lunch. After 3 hours, we will reach to Dhap Bazaar. You can explore the local lifestyle of the local village - Dhap. Overnight at Teahouse.
Today, you will walk through a dry and easy path which you will lead you to Sigane. From Kadeni, it will take you around 4-5 hours to reach the village of Jhapre. Walking along the bumpy routes, you will come across several wild orchids and astonishing landscapes of the Solu Okhaldhunga border.
You will observe the local farm life of the villagers and walk further west to reach Jhapre. Jhapre is a moderately sized farm village where you will come across many vantage points which will give you grand views of Mount Everest and Numbur Himal.
Trekking Duration: 4-5 hours
From Jhapre, the trail today involves climbing through a Lamje Danda to reach Lamuje. As you reach Lamuje, the trail splits into two different directions where you will follow the right direction towards the Pikey Peak.
As you trek, you will leave behind the farm villages and settlements of the local people and enter into a dense forest of rhododendron, pine and fir trees. You will pass through some Mani stonewalls and yak herder's houses and then move towards Toriphule Danda. From here, you will walk for about two hours to reach the Pikey Peak Base Camp.
Early in the morning, you will start walking uphill towards the deep forest areas along with the views of snow-capped mountains. The trail mostly involves climbing stone stairs with more wider views of the region. You will continue walking with some breaks in between for refreshments. After walking for about 4 hours from here, you will reach to the most awaited destination of your trip, Pikey Peak.
Reaching on the top of Pikey Peak is both adventurous and exciting at the same time. It is the highest point of the entire trek that stands at an altitude of 4032 meters. The top of the peak offers you with the panoramic views of the Himalayan ranges along with sunrise views over the mountains. Along with this, the top of the peak rewards you with magnificent views of Mount Everest, Mount Makalu, Gauri Sankar, Numbur and many more.
After exploring the spectacular views from the top of Pikey Peak, you will head back on a downhill trail to Kande.
Trekking Duration: 4-5 hours
The final destination for today is Junbensi. From Kande, you will take a downhill trail along the dense forest of coniferous. You will cross Lamjura La. En route, you could see closer views of Mount Everest, Numbur Himal and many more.
The route will then take you towards Taktor village from where you will walk along the Buddhist prayer walls and reach to a village of Junbesi. On reaching Junbesi, you will visit the Junbesi monastery, Hillary Schools, and Sherpa village.
Trekking Duration: 4-5 hours
After exploring the Sherpa Village of Junbesi, you will now head towards the main trail of Solu at Phaplu. It will take you around 5 hours to reach Phaplu from Junbesi. Walking through the beautiful village along with the scenic views of the mountains, you will finally reach Phaplu.
Phaplu is the place from where you will take your flight to Kathmandu. On reaching Phaplu, you will stay in a local Sherpa lodge where you will spend your night.
Trekking Duration: 4-5 hours
Today is the last day of your Pikey Peak Trek. In the morning, you will take a drive to Kathmandu from Phaplu. It will take you around 7-8 hours to reach Kathmandu. You will transfer to your hotel.
