Annapurna Base Camp (ABC) Trek is one of the popular and classical treks in the world offering the chances to observe and explore the typical Nepali village, and traditional way of life. Trekking till Sinuwa will have enough teahouses where you can stay in a private room. As we go to the higher altitude in base camp. There are limited teahouses where trekkers have to share the room with other fellow travelers.
The route passes through spectacular and tranquil landscapes, charming Gurung and Magar villages, lush green Rhododendron, bamboo and alpine forests to the trip’s last and final destination.
Annapurna Base Camp stands at the height of 4130m. You can enjoy the panoramic view of Annapurna massifs.

After breakfast, we leave our hotel early morning for a drive with scenic views along the road to Pokhara via Prithivi national highway. The drive could take roughly 7-8 hrs to reach Pokhara. An alternative way to reach Pokhara is by taking a flight from Kathmandu to Pokhara for 35 minutes. Overnight at Pokhara hotel on Bed and Breakfast plan.
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will drive from Pokhara to Nayapul which takes approximately one and half hours, then we start the first part of our hiking to Tikhedunga (1530m) via Birethanti (1065m.) This is a pretty easy flat out hike as we pass through several small lively villages and settlements. You can enjoy greenery forest with beautiful landscapes.
After having hot breakfast at the lodge, we start the trek and ascend steeply for the first 2 hours then ascend gently passing through Ulleri (2070m.) and Banthanti, villages. This path gives breathtaking views of Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m.), Hiunchuli (6441m), and the grand Annapurna (7219m) south on the way. Our trekking trail now gets quite easy going as we pass through rhododendron and shadowy forests amidst the cackling of birds which gives us good feelings till we ascend gently up to the final camp to the Ghorepani. Lastly, we will overnight at Lodge.
Early morning before sunrise, we will hike to Poonhill (3210m) and enjoy the sunrise views over Mt. Dhaulagiri (8167m), Tukuche Peak (6920m), Nilgiri (6940m), Varaha Shikhar (7847m), Mt. Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna South (7219m), Annapurna III (7855m), Machhapuchhare (6993m), Annapurna IV (7525m), Annapurna II (7937m), Lamjung Himal (6931m) and other numerous snow-capped mountains. Poonhill has always been a symbol of beauty for the Annapurna region. Then we will return back to Ghorepani and have a hot breakfast at our lodge and trek to Tadapani (2650m). Most part of the trail is through blooming rhododendron forest; the beautiful flower makes the jungle colorful in spring. Later, overnight at Lodge.
After having breakfast at the lodge, we start our trek; the trekking trail descends on a stone stairway for the first one and half hour and crosses the Chhomrong Khola on a suspension bridge, then climbs out of the side valley. High above the Modi Khola on its west bank, the trail passes through forests of bamboo, rhododendron, and oak, then we climb further on a rocky path, we will reach Sinuwa, at (2350m). Overnight at Teahouse for accommodation.
After having breakfast, you descend a long, steep stone staircase into deep bamboo and rhododendron forests. It is then a short distance on a muddy trail to Bamboo Lodge (2340m.) You trek gently & ascend through bamboo forests with varieties of rhododendron and oak trees. The first town you reach is Dovan (2630m.) where there are few lodges and campsites. Now you pass through a muddy trail which traverses high above the river. Then, we reach our destination for overnight Deurali (3230m)
After having breakfast, we will take a path which follows through the alpine forest. After a short trek, gradually you begin to approach Annapurna Base Camp (4130m). From the base camp, you can watch the panoramic views of several peaks which are all so clear and closer to your eye. The breathtaking views will give you vivid pictures that will attach to your memories that you don’t want to erase. Stay overnight at lodge.
Early morning, enjoy the view of Mount Hiunchuli (6441m), Annapurna South (7229m), Annapurna I (8091m), Annapurna III (7555m), Gangapurna (7454m) and Machhapuchhare or Fish Tail (6997m). You will be amazed to view the sun kissing the mountains. Take out your camera and capture those amazing mountains. On that same day, after breakfast, we will trek back to Bamboo from Annapurna Base Camp and stay overnight at lodge.
After a hot breakfast at Sinuwa, we will hike up to Choomrong and descends toward a natural hot spring at Jhinu Danda. We will spend some time in a hot spring. Now, we need to cross the longest suspension bridge in the Annapurna region. Walking for 2 hours will reach Siwai. From here, we will take a private vehicle to reach Pokhara. While traveling, you can enjoy the view of beautiful landscapes, a ridge, a waterfall, a small village, and terrain field. Overnight at the hotel.
After early breakfast at a hotel in Pokhara. We will check-out from the hotel and catch our tourist bus which leaves at 7 AM to drive us to Kathmandu and the driving will be a fantastic experience as we drive past many small towns on the way and we are able to see rural settlements, gushing rivers, terraces, and green rural landscapes. We will stop for lunch in between the travel from Pokhara to Kathmandu. After 6 hours drive, we will arrive at Kathmandu.
