Description

Manaslu Circuit Trek - 12 Night 13 Days

Recently, it has been in the list of people’s favorite tea-house trek. While some call this trek to be the closest alternative to the Annapurna Circuit, some believe it to be the best trek in all respects. The expedition starts off as we drive from Kathmandu to Arughat and then go along the bank of Budhi Gandaki River leading you to another village called Deng. Annapurna Massifs, Ganesh Himal Peaks and Mt Dhaulagiri are some other striking peaks you will get chance to explore. Since it is a restricted trail, the region is rich in its culture and wide biodiversity. The region is inhabited by two major communities called Nubri and Tsum whose culture is an interesting combination of typical Nepali and Tibet culture. Trekkers admire Sherpa culture and somehow always leave an impression to most of them. Sherpas are known for their genuineness and friendliness. If you ask a child walking baby yaks to the mountains about anything, he will reply with the world’s most adorable smile even if he doesn’t have an answer. If you are looking for a trek that’s off the beaten path, Manaslu Circuit trek has to be the first option. The highest point of this trek is at Larkya La Pass at an altitude of 5,106 meters. The trek begins from Arughat whereas ends at Besishar which happens to be the starting point of Annapurna Circuit Trek. Syala, Sama Gaon, Samdo are those remote villages en route to the base camp of Manaslu Circuit Trek. The Tsum valley and Ganesh Himal Base Camp is where the trekkers stay for acclimatization prior moving on to the high passes. The Tsum region has recently been attracting trekkers as it has not been long that the Government of Nepal has allowed tourists to trek the region. The place is geographically abundant and culturally pristine. A number of endangered animals like Snow Leopard, Himalayan Thar, Blue Sheep and Musk Deer can be found in this region. If you are planning for untouched and remote trails to trek to the mountains, Manaslu Circuit Trek is what you should go with. Make sure to get the trekking permits. According to the rules, two or more people can only obtain special permits. Consult your guide at such situations. For more information please contact us or leave us a message.
