Take a trip to the city of temples - Kathmandu, and spend a relaxing holiday exploring several of its famous locations. Head to Nagarkot, stop by beautiful temples and stupas along the way, followed by a visit to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Then, continue to Chitwan National Park

Take a trip to the city of temples - Kathmandu, and spend a relaxing holiday exploring several of its famous locations. Head to Nagarkot, stop by beautiful temples and stupas along the way, followed by a visit to Bhaktapur Durbar Square. Then, continue to Chitwan National Park to go on game drives and see the different kinds of wildlife. End the tour with a full day of sightseeing around Kathmandu and learning about the culture of the locals.

Day 1: Arrive in Kathmandu
Arrive at Kathmandu International airport and transfer to the hotel to relax for the rest of the day.
Overnight at Kathmandu.
Day 2: Half day at Kathmandu and drive to Nagarkot
Go for a half-day sightseeing tour of Kathmandu Valley, covering Pashupatinath temple - the holiest and oldest Hindu temple, and Boudhanath stupa- one of the biggest stupas of the world.
Then, drive towards Nagarkot, and en route, visit the Golden Gate, Palace of 55 Windows, Nyatapole temple, etc.
Arrive at Nagarkot and enjoy a splendid view of the eastern Himalayas with the sunset.
Overnight at Nagarkot.
Day 3: Drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square
Drive to Bhaktapur Durbar Square from Nagarkot and go sightseeing for the rest of the day.
Return to Nagarkot in the evening.
Overnight at Nagarkot.
Day 4: Travel to Chitwan National Park
Drive to Chitwan National Park from Nagarkot, one of Asia's premier wildlife reserves, extending over 360 square miles of tall grasslands and home to a wide variety of mammals and birds, including several endangered species.
After the briefing, proceed for jungle activities.
Dinner and overnight will be at the jungle lodge/resort.
Day 5: Enjoy jungle safari activities
Take a jungle safari on an elephant back, and get to see different kinds of deer, rhinoceros, wild boar, leopard, monkeys, birds, and some endangered species.
Proceed for canoeing in Rapti River or Budhi Rapti River, where you can see the Gharial and Magar species of crocodiles.
Visit the elephant breeding farm before continuing through the typical Tharu Village.
In the evening, enjoy native folk Tharu dances of the Terais.
Dinner & overnight at the jungle resort/lodge.
Day 6: Return to Kathmandu
Start driving back to Kathmandu, and en-route, visit the Manokamna Temple, believed to be the temple of a Goddess who fulfils wishes, before continuing on your journey.
Return to Kathmandu and enjoy a farewell dinner and cultural program in the evening at a Nepali restaurant.
Overnight stay in Kathmandu.
Day 7: Spend the day sightseeing in Kathmandu
Proceed for sightseeing of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the historic seat of the city. The Durbar Square, with its old temples and places, epitomizes the religious and cultural life of the people. It is here that the Kings of Nepal were crowned and their coronations solemnized.
Visit the interesting attractions of the area, such as the Living Goddess Kumari; Taleju Temple built by King Mahendra Malla in 1549 A.D.; Kal Bhairav, the God of destruction; Nautalle Durbar; Coronation Nasal Chowk; the Gaddi Baithak; the statue of King Pratap Malla; the Big Bell Drum; the Jagannath Temple; and Bhudhanil Kantha Temple - dedicated to Lord Vishnu (Jal Narayan).
End the day with a cultural show at dinner.
Final Departure From Kathmandu
Transfer to the airport for flight to onward destination—end of the tour.
